I don't think Durrant would give away any price sensitive information.

Her reputation in the industry and her share options are worth far more than that.

That has now disappeared off my LSE screen - I need to learn to take screen shots.

Think I might even enjoy a drink at a local restaurant if we hit my calculated break even. I am not far off now having averaged back down.

It might also be that following the Sky, Times, and Sun articles, plus the partner news being included in the Governments portfolio purchase for millions of vaccines, plus Uni of Notts being a site for the Phase 1 Oxford covid19 vaccine that more people have heard of it.

I trust Scancell to get on with the research and the trials. The deals will come.

I'd also rather they raise funding from a higher base share price.

As you say, the reason for being in LLOY is that it will pay, even if I have to wait a year for it.

I trust the due diligence I have done elsewhere. I'm not usually so actively watching the market. I'm just expecting more good news.

IG just ticked up to 6.3 - 7.06 (so love their precision), but LSE is still showing me 6.1 - 6.5

Hi there, I've posted a few times about the Uni of Notts Covid19 emergency appeal. It mentioned the BDI and the wide ranging covid research they are undertaking (not just the scancell vaccine and I believe somewhere it mentions being a phase 1 trial site for the oxford vaccine)

Indeed. Plus the S&T Committee said the facilities they are building would be turned over to produce other vaccines, including if the Oxford vaccine was not as effective.

The Government have also put in place getting a portfolio of vaccines, though I thought the intention was to develop a portfolio of vaccines at the time.

Certainly the research she has led over many years meant it was a safe bet, plus not being lured away by bigger players.

I'll repeat as well that the S&T committee mentioned making the UK a global leader for both vaccine research and production, capable of supply billions of doses a year.

Personally, I've tucked away some money in another share which I'm expecting to rise in the next year or so.

This will enable me to buy more LLOY and others which will produce regular divis to supplement my workplace pension.

I've got about 1/2 and 1/2 between my ISA and trading accounts. Not a huge holding though - I'm just a very small player. I'm looking for longer term regular income from LLOY rather than continual pumps and dumps.

However, I fully intend to make the most of both the capital gains allowance on my trading account and the advantageous tax rate on divis.

Uni of Notts is one of the trial sites for the Oxford vaccine as well. Lessons to be learned along the way can only be useful for the future.

In my simplistic view of how news moves the market, that would set a new historic low - one with a zero or two included compared to the current price.

It is about value. People will always need energy, and whilst BP has been gearing up for renewables, it also secured the mining for gas off Australia last week, a huge asset as renewables ramp up.

I've been wondering when takeovers would start coming in - feels like a lot of firms are waiting. Think I saw someone bought out another smaller player earlier today too.
