Not sure what the spiv brigade strategy is. To 'influence' successfully, you need an audience, this shower (duster,fish,scamoi, doug etc.etc) and all the piishh talk has simply switched them off. No audience... no results. 80% of investors don't bother with BB, the other 10% will just switch off with the finding nemo narrative, the other 10% are swayable, but hey, I want sticky fingers....up to them. Morning all. Quick check in. It's getting exciting now is it not. Simply not bothered by the artificial deadlines that the shorters prey on for their living. I'm assured by my own correspondence with COPL that excellent progress is being made, drilling and recompletion work is continuing at pace, and the NDA speaks volumes (no pun intended). A new dawn for COPL.
Share price not good, been there before have we not, only a problem if your impatient/other. The daily intake of trolls into the kindergarten aquarium is quite something to behold. Little hope for these characters to influence any sophisticated sentiment. Here for a good reason. This will be big. It's all that oil what does it. AM knows what he's doing. GLALTH

Morning all. Shares are now in far stickier hands that's for sure, many positive thinking investors I'm assuming have averaged down. Traders and shorters don't quite know how to read it now, evidence the BB for that. JV incoming, that's for sure. Let's just wait for that to happen, then we'll talk, and inevitably, a host of posters will just vanish at that point.

Incidentally, and perhaps rather sadly on my behalf, whilst awaiting the JV confirmation and the resulting de-risk, I've amused myself the past few weeks in playing a 'Whose post is it anyway?' type game. Clearly, I've filtered the down right idiots, but there's a couple who have warranted greater scrutiny. I therefore focused on our bi-polar Victor Meldrew (aka Stas ) who weirdly had an epiphany moment around epiphany time, having preached 'patience' etc etc in November. Anyway, I filtered Stas for a week, but not Waal17, the following week I reversed my filtering, this time Stas was given the floor, and so on .... for 4 weeks. Strangely, it's very easy to come to the conclusion that they are very similar in disposition and rhetoric, bi-polar indeed. A one person echo-chamber. See his mornings little narrative. Ah well......off to do some living. GLALTH, holding long and strong, it's all that oil what does it, and I rather like AM, think he's done a cracking job getting COPL into this position, no small cap get's to mid-cap without risk taking and speculating, bloody thrilling if you ask me.......patience eh Stas.....toodles

Need to watch that Doug person, I filtered a while back, but he's a bit more sophisticated than the other oinks, when it comes to maths, he's a manipulator with very hot y-fronts, paid purveyor of porkies.

I don't mean it flippantly, I'm significantly down, but I'm still very confident this will come good. I've invested for the long term, so it may be my mindset helps me to cope in this regard. I'm not overly ramping, I'm just positive. I just don't do constant bashing of a company I'm invested in. It simply makes no sense. We take responsibilty for our investing, so live with it is my motto, and if you don't think you'll get a good return, then sell.
AM is what he is, can't see it changing, but I do think his objectives are set on a bigger picture here, one that is not quite within our vision yet. I'm confident that we'll like it however.

Morning all. All this talk of corruption etc. is a bit bewildering. For sure the MMs took full advantage of COPL on Wednesday RNS, so yes manipulation and borderline corruption, pretty obvious they're working COPL hard because they know they can make some serious money on the re-rate. Was it strategic by AM, quite possibly, he wants stickier hands, and to sow an uncertainty that does not facilitate all the box trading/shorting and spread betting we've seen. It will still happen, but the corridor of uncertainty is now full of smoke, it could ignite at any moment.
As for corruption; look no further than Shell, £32 Billion profit for 2022, and what is their UK tax bill for 2022? Well it's £100million. Let that sink in. True corruption lies in the army of lawyers and 'turn a blind eye' politicians that facilitate such blatant imbalance of fiscal return. Do the maths. Even a 10% tax would return £3.2billion. How many hospitals, schools? Yes, sad state of affairs. Incidentally, how do the majors get away with reducing their tax bills to next to nothing, (and this does also apply to the USA)? They're positively encouraged to invest and buy smaller oilers, and to offset carbon footprint and develop such storage infrastructure. COPL has oil, lots of it, fact, see RS report. COPL has significant acreage with a proven storage capability, fact. Now that's why I'm invested, not too concerned, and happy to wait. Nothing has changed here. AM has got COPL thus far, has speculated to accumulate, has taken finance to the wire, but has built up assets that are simply exceptional when you compare to Mcap. Think also of the legacy aspect. This remains the case today, nothing much has changed here, I recommend that worried investors read the Prospectus. There is also the background context of a globally depressed market (Apple, Tesla have not turned a profit this past year), there is little forward looking/thinking built in, everyone has left the dance floor, and traders/shorters are scrambling around and pulling out all the stops in order to eek a living. I'm ok with the fact that COPL is a prime target, it's positive. History tells us this always comes to pass, it's simply cyclical. Anyway each to their own, if you don't like it then sell. Over half the posters here are not holders, don't believe a word they write, don't believe me either for that matter, however with a spare 15 min, and as a genuine holder, I just thought I'd chuck my penny worth in. 1. 6% increase in production - ok I guess, just the start though
2. a strategically released RNS - the usual 'your home is at risk......' terminology; procedural and repetitive and necessary by law, nevertheless enough to panic the 'unsophisticated'. Let's face it, metaphorically speaking, AM has built a large extension, a granny flat and bought the adjacent field with a view to development in the past year - no doubt it's tight, does he want a stickier core share base to stop the games? certainly facilitated this wish if true......certainly put the coyote amongst the old sage grouse did it not?
3. Lot's of new posters, and I mean enough to hire out 15 KFCs for a bonus party
4. a not so subtle 'when' not 'if' for the JV

What's not new;
1. Arthur - well ok
2. oil still there - lot's of it - very ok
3. risk/reward context - each to their own
4. high oil prices -ok
5. depleted USA oil reserves-ok
6. market manipulation (make that corruption)- not ok, but hey it always starts at the top, I mean BJ had to rely on some BBC guy to get him over the line on some 800K loan (Arthur - take note), given the Russian oligarchs need to keep their heads down for a bit

Morning all. I'm just determined not to be saved by our resident army of saviours. In fact I don't want saving. If I drown in all that oil, then so be it.
This ain't a forward looking market at the moment, nothing priced in here, nothing monetised. That tiny market cap and all that confirmed on-shore oil, in USA (how are their reserves doing?). Ohh, and a bit of extra CC wells to come on line, nice bonus that. Anyway, happy to wait. No worries here. Don't expect news every two minutes either, invested for the overall proved value, I hope this does not make me sophisticated, I'm anything but, but hey, you know what I mean.

Morning all. Thanks for the research Eazy and LLP, much appreciated. Progress is certainly being made, and production levels will certainly increase. This is key. Incrementally as AM pointed out. No drama about the guy as far as I'm concerned, you don't do 40years in the extractive industry without knowing what you're doing. He's playing a canny game, and will be determined to show any potential JV partner (or ultimately a major who will want to buy COPL lock stock) that COPL will succeed quite handsomely as a single entity. Let's face it, the USA oil reserves, depleted as they are, makes the discovery (never mind current production et al) massive asset. Not one to expect news every week, don't need it, chilled on this one. It's all that oil what does it.
