Afternoon all. It's all looking a bit edgy in the USA where oil is concerned, this does put COPL in a favourable position. The emergency oil reserves are at their lowest since 1984. Biden will want the mid-term elections out of the way, then the Department for Energy are anxious to replenish the Reserves, boosting domestic production for the first time in a decade. It's not a quick fix either, there's talk of ten even fifteen year plans. Now a close on billion barrel discovery doesn't look too shabby does it, the bigger picture with COPL is an absolute beauty in the context of resource weariness. AM has got COPL in prime position at the optimal time, he get's a lot of credit from me on that one. Shrewd operator. GLALTH

If I was being a sophisticated investor I'd say they're out to manipulate the share price to their advantage. If I was being an unsophisticated investor I'd say the same

To be fair to Iron bless, he did once state that he could not see the share price being more than 60p without refinancing. Maybe his negativity took a turn for the worse on receiving Art's emails. Hard to say though, consistency is not a word that immediately springs to mind with this guru of the board. He may have dyscalculia, so I'm loathe to be too hard on him, he does a nice line in porkies though.

Your doing a fine job pointing things out Iron, indeed it's a tangled web we weave when we first start to deceive. Alternatively you may want to stop digging that hole.....

Can you substantiate why 'you don't think that fully applies' Iron? Would that just be your opinion articulated as fact? It would be helpful if you could enlighten us further. Thanks

There's a simple question to ask; if COPL don't mange to extract their oil (COPL oil, in Wyoming, USA - i.e. not offshore exploration off Africa type thing), then who will? Question is, given USA oil shortage, will it just be left to the grouse? My money is first dibs COPL, then the inevitable takeover. Won't happen overnight. I'm a bog standard shareholder, but not unsophisticated, see the bigger picture here, and you'll do well IMO. GLALTH

Not convinced by all this excitement about bonds, pretty normal stuff for an upcoming small cap, and even more understandable when the resource is considered, which is either huge (confirmed fact) or massive (time will tell, but there is valid reasoning to substantiate this). Hurricane just paid off 110million bonds recently, no bother. What do COPL have to pay off? That's a company with (we're told has another 2/3 years of oil left in the field. What's the incline with COPL? Biblical I recall. Your usual suspects getting desperate on this one, like going to see the Mona Lisa and complaining about the flooring. Getting nervous I feel.
Looking forward to the 'Art promised this in October' ****e we'll be showered with in the coming days. Did he? My understanding was that he hoped (and we all hope for something) to have something confirmed this month? We live in a country where the Government can't decide on timelines for budgets, never mind when to provide any rationale or business plan to support any budget. Is O&G an exact science? As a confident LTH I'm not bothered about the bonds.......it's all that COPL oil in Wyoming what does it.

Morning all. Exciting times here, it's the oil what does it, in Wyoming too, nice. Pavlov's dogs look to have been released from kennels early today, even the developmentally challenged young pups. Keep hold of your shares, they're after them, they know what's coming, that's why they're here after all. We'll have an amusing onslaught today no doubt. Happy days, GLALTH

Afternoon all. Quick check in. As expected really, but the foundations are looking more and more solid and de-risked. Significantly, OPEC have cut production by 2mill bpd, that's given Biden a bit of an escape avenue in the States where he's painted himself into a corner trying to appease the climate control lobby, he can now justifiably backtrack and can blame OPEC for him having to open up and remove barriers for the immediate expansion of domestic oil production.
Let's face it their reserves are now depleted, and that's real 'rainy day' stuff. Politicians will always want votes, and 'gasoline' is a biggie in the States.
Oil is back in vogue. COPL has loads. Suitors are circling. Inclining production (40years). AM wants a last big payday and a formidable legacy, he's canny and knows how to deal. What's not to like. Totally chilled with my investment here, my largest by far. Don't give a fig how he presents etc etc, he knows what's there and what is coming.

Well things are hotting up. Still think COPL will want first dibs, but AM did want value to be a key factor before considering JV, maybe we're being told something. Let's face it, COPL own a huge amount of oil. Fact.
MMs at it again. Baserite sums things up well. Personally, I'll continue to point things out to the FCA on their on-line forms, happy in the knowledge that COPL have also referred to regulators, (not sure how useful my actions are, but hey ho, what's wrong is wrong, they'll have their eye on things if only because COPL themselves are on the case).
