OK, can understand NDA's for Avacta folks, and agree Boris needs to deliver something - and Avacta will deliver in spectacular fashion. Also slightly comforted that BCG's reputation is on the line.
Once BAMS launched and LFT promised and explained, or also launched, I'm looking forward to some serious science journalism covering Affimers. This should be along the lines of 'world changing breakthrough in biotech' - for diagnostics and treatments (preCision), and demonstrating the superiority of Affimers over mAbs. Now how much money has 'big pharma' got invested in mAbs? This could well be 'seismic' and change the shape of the industry. Unless one of them acts first?

Words like - mass testing, millions of tests, 'moonshot' (recognising it might work for a change), antigen, saliva, 'pregnancy style', etc. all mentioned.

Vaccines not 100%.
Not Avacta (or Awacta) though.
Is this about NDA's, or just really poor journalism? Why has AVCT (in any guise, euphemism, etc.) not been mentioned? Or is there a secret code which I haven't got the key for?

at least as a cautionary note about the things that can go wrong. If you believe this it seems that Ulster University discarded ~25% of tests because they were “difficult to classify/diagnose”. Wow, interesting process, if you can't read the result 'chuck' it away and don't count it!
Would also add that Prof Jon Deeks seems to be quite a 'noisy' and 'off the cuff' kind of guy given his involvement in the Govt's testing initiatives and therefore potentially quite dangerous.

Covid19 trial results were on 20/7 (COPD 8/9), look at the dates on the EAMS (Early Access to Medicines Scheme) link below. Presumably we did the paperwork and submitted, but maybe not for the 27 July submission date, but did submit for 24 August? In which case the ‘Day 45’ review would be 14 October with a decision published on 15 October?

Consilium confirm UK as well as EU (Clinigen message only mention EU), but Synairgen still have to get the approvals?
But SNG001 available from a doctor going through MAP Clinigen?
If the case – good. Still ethical issues re trial vs MAP access though.

Perhaps some ambiguity re availability of SNG001, from the Clinigen RNS …

So Richard still working on making SNG001 available (though does say “widely”), while Clinigen encouraging healthcare professionals to call / email for access – anyone tried this?
Just a thought, if (say) you’re sick with Covid19 in the EU your hospital can request SNG001, whereas in the UK currently your best chance is to join the trial with a 50% chance of placebo? If true, would be some ethical issues here I think.

Interesting pricing, around the level previously speculated, i.e. ~£10 a go with (say) £1 - £1.50 to us.
So, we will match or better S&S, and our test will use saliva.
Let's get those manufacturing partners signed up, tech transferred to them, and lines rolling!

Morningstar has a simple view of the last few trades, does highlight an awful lot of late reported trades in 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50k blocks. Someone’s interested! And they’re still coming in.
