10% of population (not clear to me how many people included) every week - I think we will need a lot of LFT's.

We are all (not least me) waiting for news on the BAMS test that (we hope) will significantly increase hospital based testing capacity and the 15min LFT that will open up the country. While we wait we know that the pre|CISION chemotherapy pro-drugs are in the pipeline with AVA6000 (for example) heading for phase 1 trials. We shouldn’t, though, forget about the wider, Affimer based, diagnostics business and our extended team of research collaborators working on developing these new diagnostics.

Avacta Life Sciences Wetherby – Laboratory Manager and Senior Scientist, Assay Group.
First one is a good sign of the business scaling up, i.e. managing lab team and facilities to make sure those scientists have got everything they need.
Second one is all about Affimers, ELISA, LFD assays, etc.
Permanent jobs, confidence high.
BAMS – looks like being validated at last.
LFT – waiting RNS on technology transfer.

This dates from June so apologies if already posted, just further demonstrates the potential of Affimers.

Worth remembering that the BAMS 'research' test was launched on 30 Sept. with a performance specification document provided by Bruker. I doubt that any of Avacta, Adeptrix or Bruker, would let this be released for sale without complete confidence in performance.

Answers to questions not answered on the day of the interims (28 Sept) were posted on 23 Oct via the Investor Meet Company.
So, despite Condor not progressing things very quickly, at least Avacta's - "own clinical and commercial collaborations, to evaluate and clinically validate the high throughput COVID-19 bead-assisted mass spectrometry (BAMS) laboratory assay developed with Adeptrix for CE marking as a professional use diagnostic test" - are progressing from no later, and likely a bit earlier, than 23 October.

Diagnostics industry now a 'national strategic asset'!
Timescale ?- (David thinking, clearing throat, etc.) LF antigen tests later to market, more difficult to develop - UK govt want sovereign supply, working closely with us, start to see tests emerging over next few months.
Timescale? again - specific timelines as product passes through process (obviously can't answer directly) ..
Manufacturing scale-up - competition for kit intense, with involvement of govt problem can be addressed somewhat, big effort ongoing to address this ...
Closing remarks, again govt see industry as 'national strategic asset', challenge to get enough to market.
