RE: General consensus price target26 Jun 2021 15:33
Really enjoying the positivity and informed discussion on this board (as someone else mentioned the other day, I also sold a few AVCT to invest here a couple of weeks ago). Think the TA stuff is interesting but the ‘real world’ of geology, the (so far) great progress with drilling and medium-term plans, financing and ‘external’ influences are the things that will drive the valuation here.
In the event of an early commercial discovery at Tai will there be a change of plan?
(Bear in mind that the overarching objective should be - how to maximise returns to shareholders, though the timescale of such ‘returns’ is clearly a factor, and of course, supporting the local economy, and ESG type concerns are key as well).
Are we an exploration company only? Therefore we expect to be acquired at some point, if on the strength of the first find, then a proper appraisal would seem essential?
Are we an exploration company with an ambition to become a large-scale producer? So (remember the premise is an early find at Tai), do we stay on plan and drill the other 3 targets or move directly to full appraisal at Tai? In this scenario we are going to need to raise again quite soon, which approach generates the best sp and therefore the least dilution?
My take, significant commercial find at Tai – acquisition virtually ‘nailed’, too important a global strategic asset.
Many possibilities as to how this unfolds in the next few days, weeks, months. This has just got be one of the most exciting companies ‘in play’ just now.
