A4444.... nah, the RNS would be a cash raise ;-)
I agree with that howezap
Some good healthy debate this weekend. I agree with Steve that we should as shareholders all be on the same team. Keeping everyone on the same page is down to the captain... no not you Bob :-). So lets wait and see if captain Colin has given us fair and reasonable forward guidance when the dust settles. Only then can we judge if some of the criticism has been fair and reasonable or if it has indeed been Colin bashing. On the comment about we all win and lose together... that is a lovely idea but which seems to fall by the wayside when cash raise time comes around and the created spike just prior to the cash raise benefits the chosen few who have an opportunity to forward sell. Perhaps they are the entitled beneficiaries ? Anyway I hope this isn't seen as entitled whinging. As someone who has done OK out of XTR, I can still see rights and wrongs.
nah its not bad comms.... that Buffet is just too old and distracted with too many companys :-)
A thumbs up from me at 10p. That would be like getting a second chance at that Jan2021 spike.
I don't believe Gixxer will be alone in that. There will have been a fair few who have bought in north of 6p and now feel let down ? Its understandable that they will try to limit the damage on any recovery. i was too slow to cash in on the spike of 18 months ago but hopefully will be more prepared if we get another. I didn't really care if Bushranger was the bees knees or not but I did expect Colin to get the SP lifted on hope (which he did I suppose) but that 9p spike caught me by surprise and the gushing interviews kept the SP flirting with 7p after that. I thought even if it was more of the same old it didn't matter if I could cash in on a steadily rising SP. I'm lucky I suppose in that I'm one of the Chepicos. I remember that name given to us moaners by the likes of spacemen and one of his disciples (I cant remember the name). Spacemen sounded just like Steve does now lol. Anyone remember how he would try and get posters banned if they didn't religiously heap praises on Colin and XTR's progress ? He went over to the dark side if I remember correctly. Anyway as I said I feel fortunate that I stuck with it and am doing ok here but I wont stop criticising when I feel the need.
Ella10... nicely put
Steve... I think you are being overly sensitive to some healthy criticism regarding our investment. Perhaps you should visit A D V F N to see what negative really is.
We are only getting 90p now... keep up
The quality of the primary source of information and communication is the whole point of recent unrest here !
Perhaps Colin has moved to telegram in that case ;-)
Steve... you clearly have not been in XTR long enough to pass that sort of unwarranted judgement on long term posters on here.
I meant to add before... the SP is where it is WITH the FB boost. Also Colin made a point of showing disappointment that cash raises are difficult with low SPs. I hope that disappointment doesn't out-weigh the disappointment of having the buy-back thwarted !
Tiny UTs have not put the SP down to where it is. Yes UTs can distort a daily close but are you really saying that the SP is heading lower because of occasional UTs ?
I think our 50+% drop could have been inline with the 30% drop in copper and aim generally if the market knew what the strategy was. Of course world events are playing a big role here... but the markets negative perception of XTR has magnified the SP drop. Whose fault is that ? It certainly is not the shareholders who chose to ignore previous history and take a chance on the original guidance regarding bushranger. Now that the quick "tie a bow on it" deal is off the table the SP has been hit harder than it may have been. I dont know what the strategy should be now. I'm concerned that Colin has previously thrown money at ill judged "opportunities... Kalingwa (or whatever it was called) and the diamond miner fiasco. I don't want Phase 3 to be a repeat of that. It is rare for exploration companys to make a go of things... why should Phase 3 be any different. Maybe we should bank the FB cash and see how things are when the world comes to its senses again.
Steve... do you know what the current strategy is ?
It is imho perfectly acceptable for Colin to be playing the cards close to his chest when it was implied that a deal was close as Colin himself stated that he couldn't negotiate via the front pages. Now that the game has substantially changed does that still hold ? I don't think it should. Following Phase 1 and Phase 2, what do we have at racecourse ? Will shareholders be fully informed with a meaningful model that they can decide if it still aligns with their investment aim ? I agree we shouldn't waste energy on trying to control things we cannot change.... but extend us the courtesy of giving us the information so we can decide. The world has changed. The game plan seems to have changed. The market will assume the worse if cards are played close to the chest when the circumstances don't seem to warrant that.
10p not looking so daft now... if only. I do feel our chance has come and gone now (for the foreseeable future anyway).
I wonder what the historic total spend has been.
