Another article I read on MSN on Friday afternoon was ASOS, Boohoo, Hand M are to be summoned to a Government hearing to be grilled over slavery in Chinese factories.....................(Those three were mentioned in the heading but other Companies were included i the narrative.........

It is merely mudslinging by the press........................SP will not take a big hit on Monday..................To be hones I think that is why the SP dropped from 3.18 down to 3.14 at approx 3.45pm!!

I have to admire peoples optimism..................Unfortunately looking at a 20% drop....................I am not gloating............but the optimism unfortunately is ridiculous!!! I have held for some time and may buy again on the drop..................but it will hurt large holders seeing 20% plus wiped out instantly!!

What a stupid and fallacious comment..........................sensible if you ask me!!

Hate to say it......................but SP has been manipulated......................and tomorrow am it will be slaughter!! Would be difficult to sell first thing...................stop losses will drive the price down................and almost certain it will end tomorrow below £1.75. I may be wrong but with 30 years plus of investing placings are never ever 'good news'!! Fortunately sold up my holding yesterday....................for those left in good luck.....................you will need it!!

Totally agree...........unless you have a closing T20 hold!!! I have no worries at at all about my investment here............it is a volatile share, but, at the end of the day Boo is a Company that beats market expectations Q after Q!! Price will fluctuate but the trend will be upwards in the near to long term. The big IIs know that.......Old Mutual(Jupiter) and Baillie Gifford funds I hold and respect!

First...........I would like to say I am also in the elderly bracket!!! Secondly as a retired Senior Environmental Scientist I also a have considerable knowledge of infectious diseases and infection control. My point is totally agree that all life matters............however............we should also understand that this pandemic, and the way it is being handled is affecting millions of people indirectly that will, and has, affected financially, mentally and emotionally the well-being of society. As an old codger I accept death..............there are many millions of young people out there that have lost a future..........for what? To save us old buggers!! My grandma was a nurse in an isolation hospital................that is what we really need to do now.....................is isolate those that are in need of care...............treat them in specific Covid/isolation hospitals (such as nightingale) and let society get on. I do not fear Covid.........(both daughters are in the NHS and partners had Covid).............but what on earth has happened to society today.......everybody in fear of catching Covid??? Millions out of work.....hundreds of thousands waiting life changing surgery............thousands of students in virtual prison............society in fear of a respiratory disease, fearing others, walking around in masks, (thinking they are safe???) The only reason for wearing a mask is to stop YOU infecting others!! RANT OVER

Read the article and not as scathing as many past news reports!!.............Watered down somewhat. Of course it is all old news............so doubt it will have much of an impact tomorrow!!

Maxage.....................................................CEO and directors DO NOT own 60% of the Company. M Kamani is the Major shareholder with 12.5%................Jupiter is the largest II with approx 10%. 75.%% of shares are in public hands!!

I am sure nothing ominous.............ASOS was down over 3%today also. Keep the faith!!!! There is so much negative influence at the moment.....................but, to be honest, how many companies can beat forecast Q on Q.................every time!! As we know.........money in the bank.............no debt..................amazing sales................I have a lot of money invested here..............but have full confidence for future growth. You ca bet bottom dollar that they will have researched the ME market.............(I personally spent 30 years working in the ME) and profit margin there will be huge compared to UK market............US, ME and Rest of W.......................they will continue to grow exponentially!!

Mtel...............a bit late now........You can invest £20,000 of you money now................but unfortunately any profit you have made so far you have to pay the Gov Capital Gains tax if you sell up..................the best thing to do is us to try and minimise your gains by using your allowance before April 5th................ Then again April 6th..............and if you are happy leaving it then keep invested and transfer £20,000 into you isa for this year and £20,000 for next year

Mtel..............It is a gift from the Government........intended to encourage saving. You can invest up to £20,000 per annum . The idea being.......everything you put in the ISA can be used for investing in virtually any form......and any gains you make are totally tax free. Capital Gains Tax is not a consideration!! If you invest outside of an ISA you pay tax on any gains over (I think) £12,200.................once you take it out though......you are back to normal......so the idea is you build up the ISA over years and leave it in....even if it just cash...............so you can further invest later

Within 10 mins of opening I would say £4.15.....................but probably close sub £4.00 ...........................Hopefully wrong!!
(ideally would like to see a close of £4.25 plus!!!)

Yesterday you said you had 29,090 shares at £1.86.......................so at £2.72 you would be £25,074 in profit? Bit off £50k!!

Bullit.............I do understand your concerns.......and it will be very interesting to see how this pans out tomorrow. My own belief is for the SP to rise rather than fall...........As previously stated the big investors will have read the report before it was released....I too am pretty certain of this........according to LSE there were 55m of sales and only 53 million of purchases.............that is totally wrong............the SP would have not risen as it did....particularly in the afternoon if things were not perceived to have been positive. You are correct about the bad press.....they have a point to prove and have done their best to suppress the SP since it was first reported in September......unsuccessfully!! Boo is a huge Company that is where it is because of the vision of the founders.............I have no problems with them been billionaires.....I bet you that they worked more hours in the year at the start of the Company than the average man does in his lifetime!! They deserve the rewards........not liked by the press though..............!! All I know is that I bought initially at £1.87 and sold at £2.80 to watch the SP rise to over £4.00 regretting every day on the rise that I hadn't held....................then came a great opportunity to buy at between £2.00 and £3.00 and couldn't believe my luck......didn't ever think I would get back in................On Friday there were some huge buys (posted by kttykitty)..................almost certainly IIs.............even a chance tomorrow of getting more RNSs............either from Boo or IIs ... Just hope we are right and you are wrong!!! Could be congratulating you tomorrow.......but I suspect you will have to pay more to get back in.............good luck!!
