No we are taking $50m from the bondholders ! Reducing the debt !!

Not sure what your logic is to suggest a rush for the door tomorrow.What has happened since 8.28 on Friday to alter the price ?

Should this not be issued before the reconstruction takes place ?

The deal has been agreed by 69% of the bondholders.
1.Do we know who they are and what percentage of debt does each hold ?
2.Were the others consulted and refused to participate ?
3.75% of bondholders need to pass the deal.Another 7% have to be persuaded to toe the line.
4.Will any of the bondholders own 30% of the shares post dilution?If so surely they must offer to buy out the remainder.If not would CA get involved to protect its own position.
5.Do CA own any debt ?
It seems to me there is still something to play for especially if CA get involved

No ,if the reconstruction goes ahead the Company will issue additional shares to the Bondholders in return for reducing their debt by $50m.The net worth of the company will then be $50m higher but each share will be worth less because of the extra ones issued.The market will decide what the price of each share is on that day,supply and demand.

Despite the details of the reconstruction being much worse than expected 63m shares were purchased yesterday.Obviously many punters still feel there is value here at this price

No the market cap is the value of the company,which is the share price x the number of shares at any given moment.At the point of dilution the market cap doesnt change but the price of each share may.Simple !!!!

Unless there is some financial reconstruction here the Bondholders hold no sway,unless they are major shareholders too but I am not sure whether the BOD consult anyone anyway
