Not according to Citi today, they have a sell recommendation on it. Not that I care for them. I have been buying into the dips.

Motley fools writers are the most pathetic I have come across. I give them no credibility whatsoever, especially Peter Stephens, whom is virtually bullish nearly on everything.

All the analysts were spouting this crap since the lows of January last year. They have been proved wrong.

With the £ being weak against the $, our quarterly dividend payable on 27/03/17 is 38.64p per share.

I am in a 1764p, average, so buying higher increase my average. Also need to keep my powder dry for other bargains that come along. If RDSB dropped below £20 then I would put everything on that, however that is very unlikely to happen now. So, looking for top ups in LLOY or VOD, BDEV which I hold, and also pay great dividends.

I have 14573 shares and wanted to round it up to 15000, but as dananzi says, not at this price. Will hold at this level, and enjoy the income, which has got even better with a weak £. Might consider selling if over £25.

Down on a market up day, so when markets have a down day, then we will get a really bad down day, hammered. Looking to buy some more, a bit nervous at the moment.

Anyone know what the third quarter dividend is in sterling? Nothing on Shell investors website, it was supposed to have been announced on 02/12/16. Thanks.

Sold all my holding yesterday, at 475.13, Bought them all back and gained 114 shares in the process this morning. This is one the most volatile shares in the market with large swings daily, have been making a bit here and there regularly.

In order to bring my average down, bought another 1000 shares a 135.69 Average now 148.36 Cannot see it dropping much further now, will buy another 1000 shares if does go below 130p. The drop was overdone, and the bears should start to be fearful at these levels.

I have shares at breakeven of 473.92p With a 24.7p dividend, brings it down to 449.22.

I agree with you, and that is exactly what I did, even if I did take a 10p loss or so per share, the dividend more than compensates, and as it is in a SIPP, non difference whether it is income or capital gains. I also did something slightly different, I purchased more when it went ex div, so that I could bring my average down.

I did buy some at 438.17, however SHOULD have bought more. Lol

It down daily. We may have a slight rally next Wednesday afternoon, after all the drops until then, then when it goes ex on Thursday, it will drop probably like 8-10%. Reckon price will be around 135p on ex div day. I was going to buy some, but will leave well alone until next Thursday, when I will top up. Only hold a 1000 shares, just a dip in the water at 159.75 breakeven

They will be trading EX dividend tomorrow.
