Suff, I am in this for a punt holding 28994 shares. Looking for around 170p. Happy to take the dividends, even if they cut the final down to 6p it is still a top yield. Now you did not stop for the journey in LLOY, that has galloped on, still holding 488064 shares there. Will be in Shenfield the comming Saturday, have 14 properties to view. Midlands is the best place on earth, nice and sunny. Would never swap it, great links to any part of the UK.. RDSB results out on Thursday hope to sell a few of them and buy them back when they go ex. In all honesty they have been the best shares I have ever owned, doubled my cash plus around 1.40p dividends per year, and you get to trade them quite frequently.

Each day the pound is getting stronger to the dollar, RDSB will go down along with all other $ earners, and our yield will drop. Can see it dropping more yet, then an uplift at results. Looking to buy another lot, will come sooner than later.

This will go up once the impatient investors have completely sold out to the patient investors.

TheFarEnd, the trouble with LLOY is that it is not going anywhere fast. I have been in this since 2010, and the price is lower now than it was then, with a few wobbles down to the twenties. It is always jam tomorrow. I sold £24000 worth for 37.15 on 08/12/17 and bought RDSB for 2363.50. They close at 2508.50 and LLOY at 68.06. I am no longer building up a stake in LLOY, as I see too may headwinds, and there are other and better options out there. Just a slow wind down. Incidentally, I have no financial products with LLOY, my cash is with Virgin money, RCI Bank and Nationwide.

Hey Suff, I see that you are following me, eh? I suppose where you see value, you go for it. If dividend is not cut, then this is a great return, assuming the BOD can pay for it out of earnings. Are you still in LLOY? or have you given up on the old nag. I have been adjusting my portfolio, and reducing in LLOY, increasing in RDSB, another superb cash cow, as well as increase in share price. If I had to choose any share that would be it. If CNA drops any more, I will sell more LLOY and put the cash in here. At the moment have enough cash in here.

Agreed, but have been trading around results and then around ex. Always manage to buy back more than I sell.

Hi Suffy, So you are out of LLOY now. What are you going to do with all that cash sloshing about? I am in, looking forward to the Santa Rally, if we get one. Looking to pull out RDSB, as need to bank some profits, and oilies have done well. Most certainly better than the banks. I think Woodford is following me, I bought into Barc Last week, and LLOY in 2010. Lol

Pipk, the year high was reached on 04th January at 2390.5 Sorry to burst you bubble. Nevertheless, I do hope this rise continues, as I am heavily invested in this company.

Misca, I agree with your comments. Diversify in other shares is a safer option. However like you, I am in RDSB around 50% of my portfolio, the other in LLOY. Both give a great income.. BP, they need a higher price for profitability, than RDSB. Also we have BG which is now integrating well.
