The patient investor’s translation from ADVFN:
NCYT kit on TV, potential audience HALF A BILLION!! posting again my own post with the translation of the great video on NCYT kit. hTtps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee6J5VHJW9o I am a former biologist and also, being italian, i understand some spanish and the jargon and i can help with the translation (of the video i understand about 80-90% with the help of subtitles and slower speed). This video is absolutely brilliant, the fact that a major network has talked about our kit, (we know that Spanish is a widely spoken language all over the world, the 4th most spoken idiom with a remarkable half BILLION speakers) will bring our company to a much much wider audience. This could seriously get to 5 quid if we start selling massively as it could and actually should, they NEED TESTING. THE VIDEO They say the CDC kit, apart from being faulty, took 4 hours to complete the test and like other kits recognised only VARIOUS DIFFERENT parts of the genetic sequence of the virus. Our kit instead takes 120 minutes (these are the exact words the NCYT lady says) and the scientist/technician adds (but we knew that already) that our test recognises 100% of the genetic sequence of the virus making it extremely accurate (100% actually). At the end the lady journalist says that "NCYT are currently in discussion with the regulatory agency OF THE UNITED STATES (she did not say FDA, which is the case obviously) AND OF OTHER COUNTRIES so that this test arrives in greater numbers to the world's laboratories" VERY IMPORTANT I set the speedof the video at 0.5, she talks so fast for fck sake!! and with the help of the subtitles (AND THE BRILLIANT GOOGLE TRANSLATE app) I have realised it is much much better! In my previous attempt I understood that NCYT and other companies were in discussion with the regulatory agency of the USA (fda). Instead I have realised that the correct translation is (no other companies involved, it was my mistake!): "NCYT are currently in discussion with the regulatory agency OF THE UNITED STATES (she did not say FDA, which is the case obviously) AND OF OTHER COUNTRIES so that this test arrives in greater numbers to the world's laboratories
