Asleep - Did you mean 'suit' rather than 'suite', unless of course you think the ladies will be attracted to your shiny new bathroom suite as well as your Aston?
They're obviously still reporting and getting posts removed. Some posts have already been removed today, there's now less posts from today than there was when I checked in an hour or so ago. Beware, they're lurking in the shadows all the time.....
Don't know KIra, seems odd to me, but I'm loving your theory that it's a hidden message!
Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what the abundance of trades for just '7' shares was all about in the final couple of minutes of trading? Could just be someone mucking about, but seems quite a few of them and very close together.
Cleethorpes - now you're talking Tilly. Visit once in a while for one reason only, the draw of Papa's Fish & Chips in the old ball room on Cleethorpes Pier - it's superb. Best fish and chip restaurant in the East Midlands according to The Times. I believe it's also the largest fish and chip restaurant in England too. You must treat Lil next time you're in town!
Greetings Evan3020. Seems to be quite a few of us genuine Yellowbellies in this fantastic stock. We're obviously a shrewd breed!
Hi Kira. Yes, us true Yellowbellies always do our fair share on the oars, despite what Tilly says!
about a 7 a.m. RNS tomorrow, I have to confess. The late uptick in share price coupled with some slightly unusual trades going through hints that something is stirring! The rather long wait for a conclusion is nothing compared with the anxiety we all endured during the 5 month suspension with radio silence, but still, it would be nice to see this one get over the line now.
GLA.
FireAnt - I agree and am sure this will bounce back later in the year. I have been in LSEG to a greater or lesser extent for some time but sold most of my holding earlier this year at £96. I've been accumulating my holding back in chunks from £83 all the way down to present levels. In retrospect, I wish I'd held off a bit longer and not started re-accumulating at £83, but hey, hindsight is a wonderful thing. At the time, I thought £83 was a gift! Holding over 800 shares now and will just keep adding more if it continues to slide, for I remain bullish about the long term quality of this stock.
RhyzG - I don't believe that Qatar Holdings have reduced their position in terms of the number of shares they hold. If you look at their RNS, it does not state that it was a sale. I think you'll find that their percentage of ownership has been diluted by the issue of additional share capital. The RNS the day before set out the increased figure of shares now in issue, to be used by significant holders to declare their percentage of ownership. This led to a requirement for Qatar Holdings to declare their slightly diluted interest. They have simply been diluted in the same way that I or any other investor in the company has.
Good to see there is a fellow Yellowbelly hanging around!
such as TEPCO looks a possibility to me. It was reported in the media in recent days that they are really struggling, in a big big way, to deal with the contaminated water at Fukushima.
Sorry, I meant enjoyed!
Enjojed as usual - cheers Stonk.
Just gone back through the RNS releases and it was 18 September that James referred to a sale of the company 'and' its world class assets. The writing was indeed on the wall (or in RNS!) from this point on in all probability.
Well spotted Ian_ , top marks for you today. Perhaps Septic Lil will make herself available for your pleasure tonight as your just reward. I think James' altered statement in the last RNS is probably a major clue. It's probably as clear a sign as we've had yet that a full sale is on the cards. I'm surprised it's taken someone a week to pick up on that one actually, the more times I read it over, the more I feel he's trying to spell it out to us - it's literally there in black and white!
.........enjoy a well earned rest. It's a nice day out there today, so perfect for a bit of socially distanced time in the garden with friends and family. Just about to set off to see the out-laws :-( Not seen them since Christmas, so there have been some advantages to lockdown ;-).........joking, joking! See you all on deck next week.
Thanks Stonk, thoroughly enjoyed that one. Much appreciated as always!
Stonk - can we have a return to the gliding analogies in your posts please, they were much enjoyed by some on here. Many thanks ;-)
It has often been debated as to who owns the other 20% at MT. For whatever reason, this always seems to have been something of a mystery. Given this latest revelation, it occurs to me that just perhaps we might already have been working with them as a partner at MT. Could they have been the mystery co-owner at MT all along? Would seem to stack up and is as good a theory as I've ever heard touted.
