Thanks Dan20402. I've been back and checked the 2018 results and you are quite right. It seems that both Linde and NUKEM are involved in the supply/packaging of the gas.
timadamss - Thanks for your response, appreciated. How can we be sure Stifel are correct though? What I was really looking for, was confirmation direct from documentation produced by Polarean that Linde Plc are involved. They may have made reference and I've missed it, but I can only recall them having referenced NUKEM in terms of gas supply.
Can someone please point me in the direction of where it is documented that Linde Plc are the manufacturer? This is news to me, as I was under the impression that NUKEM (who have a 5.5% stake in Polarean) were supplying the gas. If Linde Plc are involved, is it perhaps the case that whilst NUKEM might be the supplier to Polarean, the manufacture is subcontracted out by NUKEM to Linde Plc?
Whilst any delay is of course disappointing, I remain optimistic that the FDA will ultimately approve the NDA. I already have a reasonably substantial holding here (around 10% of my portfolio at an average of 48p), so wasn't really looking to add. However, if the share price drifts significantly below my average over the next few weeks, I will seriously consider adding more in order to lower my average and increase my exposure. It's a gift at these prices in my opinion. I can see this hitting £3 to £4 within two years of securing FDA approval, assuming the commercial roll out gains momentum.
"As we enter the final stages of the NDA review process, we look towards a potential commercial launch before the end of 2022." That sound like a CEO confident of winning FDA approval to me.
Isn't it the AGM today? Surprised nobody has mentioned it yet. Presume that means nobody here is planning to attend?
Bringo - Ethiopia, Ha ha ha ha ha. Hardly a comparable jurisdiction!
Yes, a good listen, thanks for sharing Andrew. Not that I require any more convincing that copper is one of the key metals to be invested in for the foreseeable future. The simple fact that in order for everyone to change their ICE car for an EV over the next 30 years is going to mean we're going to need to mine as much copper over the next 30 years, as has been mined previously in the whole of history, is enough to convince me!
Andrew4444 - I would normally agree with you that 07:00 a.m. would be the expected time to drop a results RNS. However, last year the XTR Final Results RNS arrived at 11:06 a.m. on 28 June. This suggests to me that it could arrive at any time of day and I am expecting it to be today or tomorrow. Will certainly be a bit disappointed if it is delayed.
I'm expecting the Final Results RNS within the next 46.5 hours. I know they only cover the period up to the end of 2021, but Colin's statement might give us some clues as to where we are heading with BR.
I note there is a someone called Alex Terry who works as a Programme Director at Barclays Wealth. Given that Barclays Wealth are also listed as a significant shareholder, I wouldn't be surprised if he's the chap. My brother worked in a senior role at Barclays Wealth until about 4 years ago, so out of interest, I'll ask if he knows him next time we speak.
Still confident of a positive outcome here. A little patience is hopefully all that's required at this stage.
Positive interview today with CB. For me, the interview confirmed that sale negotiations are already underway. Listen to the language:-
"only months" when asked how long we might have to wait for a sale announcement.
"I don't want to get into a sale discussion, as trying to conduct my negotiation on a podcast on this sort of platform is very, very dangerous" Note he refers to "my negotiation".
"we're being watched".
"everyone who's interested knows what the Bushranger project is".
"there's two parties to a sale", suggesting timescale/terms being dictated by another party.
He appreciated shareholders might be "unhappy about a couple of months" of additional proving up, but suggested it would pay to be patient.
"I'd like to ask our shareholders to hang in there, because we're onto something".
Sounding like we're working towards a positive outcome at Bushranger and a little patience is all that's required.
There must have been a tight spread there then 50chaz, as I had a cheeky little top up about 3 or 4 mins before the close at 6.93 - seemed a bit of a bargain!
Colin, if you're reading this, the Xtract website needs a little update by the way! On the 'Company Advisors' page, you've still got PKF Littlejohn listed as auditor, when I believe we changed to Jeffreys Henry in March.
No need to thank me. A blinding RNS to confirm we've got at least 2Mt and that you've agreed a sale of Bushranger for a princely sum, with a special divi to be paid to all shareholders, will suffice!
All the best, Lincolnite.
Yes, overall volume is certainly increasing here. Some nice chunky trades going through today too. It's certainly starting to feel like we're gaining traction for a push beyond 7p and hopefully for the last time.
Given the recent discussion on the topic, perhaps that's Bill using some of his April pay packet to exercise a few of his share options?
Cela24 - Generally, I try to avoid calling people out for poor spelling, but I'll make an exception in your case. Firstly, given the irony and secondly, given the fact that you've made the same mistake more than once today! If you're going to continue to post here, perhaps you should learn to spell 'mining'. It might help to give your posts an ounce of credibility, although probably not.
rad121 - An RNS can be released anytime between 7:00 hrs and 18:30 hrs. In order to avoid creating a disorderly market, it is common practice to issue any RNS likely to have a significant impact on the share price either before markets open to the public at 8:00 hrs or after markets close, usually at 16:30. The trading day can sometimes be extended by 5 or 10 minutes on any given share, up until 16:40ish, if the market makers desire extra time to settle trades. This usually happens when there is large volume to process going into the close. You will see if they have played for this extra time, as a 'Price Monitoring Extension' RNS will have to be issued.
If everything we've been told so far checks out and we are in a position to declare 2mt, given the jurisdiction, Bushranger could be a £500m to £1b asset disposal in my view. The current share price is so detached from the potential upside here, it's quite incredible. I have to confess, this disparity has made me question myself numerous times and I keep coming back to my valuation, wondering if there is something I'm missing. I've crunched the numbers every which way now and always come back to a valuation within this range (I was a chartered valuation surveyor in a previous life by the way). Anything less than £500m and I think the purchaser would certainly have got a pretty good deal. Having built up a substantial position here, I'm looking forward to watching this unfold over the course of this year. Good luck all.
Hi Max111. Many thanks for your response. I've been back through the RNS releases now, including the one announcing Bill's appointment as CEO. You are quite right, he was awarded 45M on his appointment as CEO. This was in addiition to 10M that he already held, so he actually had 55M in options at the time of his appointment. Some expire in 2023 and the rest in 2024.
I had noted that Mark Culbert had bought 5M at 1.25p and thought that this looked quite a positive sign. He presumably thought he was getting good value at that level at the time, suggesting anything under this level will turn out to be a good entry point.
Thanks again, Lincolnite.
I have been building a position here for a while. I am currently considering trying to more than double my existing position over the next week or two, as the potential upside seems convincing to me. One thing is niggling me a bit though - Bill's holding. Is he really only holding 1,500,000 shares? He certainly talks the talk, but he doesn't seem to have put his money where his mouth is if this is his total holding, does he? He's our top man, so if he thought there was massive upside, surely he'd be loading up. Anyone else got any views on this? Something I usually look for, is management having plenty of skin in the game. To think i could end up taking a position larger than the top man is making me question myself.
