Offtake partnering could be to do with a price floor, Ganfeng CEO stated in a FastMarkets interview, offtake agreements with no floors or ceilings undertaken. Or a verbal agreement with Assore for an Atlantic acquisition on ratification that stalled the offtake, thinking the latter very plausible given circumstances.

That's cool @5toamillion, maybe I am just a blind optermist, either way, I have a good feeling that Atlantic Lithium will deliver excellent results for SHs.

Risk off for Atlantic Lithium 50% partnership

While Sayona is to be the parent entity it will be rebranded, and Sayona managing director and chief executive Lucas Dow will be the managing director and CEO of the merged entity. Piedmont president and CEO Keith Phillips will be a strategic advisor for a transition period of up to six months.

Excellent news for Atlantic Lithium 👏

Indirectly this merger has huge ramifications for Atlantic Lithium shareholders as it creates certainty via liquidity, capitalisation for Piedmont, as the company solidifys its position as a major North American spodumene hard rock producer. Extremely positive for Atlantic partnership with Piedmont, IMO.

While Carbonate Futures dropped last night, prices for 6% Spod continued to rise. SMM Australian 6% CIF taking the lead at $870 av. Fastmarkets noted "Spodumene prices continued to rise amid reports of higher deals in the spot market."

My guess the mining lease gets ratification in Parliament 9th sitting by NDC or NPP. If a majority NDC fine either way ratification will happen in due course. Atlantic Lithium is a strong position in reality to time frame to production, lithium prices are volatile. FID will happen and all moving parts will fall into place, binding offtake agreement, MIIF, Piedmont, on the back of pending ratification. Of course IMO was mining lease ratified back to the 20s, keep faith 🙏

As of Tuesday, November 5, 2024, Parliament is on a mandatory recess until Friday, January 3, 2025. Barring any recall, Parliament will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025, prior to its dissolution, to conduct public business for the First Session of the Ninth Parliament.

This new session will feature a new Speaker, new leadership, and new Members of Parliament, with the possibility of the NDC or NPP forming the Majority or Minority in the House, potentially alongside one to three Independent Members of Parliament.
