BTW, aren’t your charts meant to be more longer term analysis? You almost update MTR every day :-), not that much can change in 24hours. The fact that I am a fan of your TAs, and have 2 other requests waiting (other shares are available), has nothing to do with my post here :-)

that’s what I read into it too. I have been telling myself since 3p to wait....at some point I will be wrong (when positive news falls). Happy to accept that: I’d rather buy on a rising trajectory and miss some of the uplift than buying in too soon and having to wait ages sitting on a paper loss. The charts from Bonkers also tell me to wait until Spring. So from my POV it’s either: average down until then (LTH) but for newbies I think better to wait a bit longer. Just my POV.

from that other BB edgar222: Thoughts on Waterflood. Waterflood has long been a hope of mine for LGO / CERP. Back in the days of only having Goudron and drill-raise-drill-raise it seemed to be the answer. Then this management came in and Goudron is no longer the only asset and may not even be the most important asset. This management's background at Tata has involved waterflood. That business (that they grew exponentially) was "like a big washing machine". Leo and Stewart are both steeped in the technicalities and the financials of waterflood. Then about a year ago they started with CERP. And nothing happened with GY670. They targeted that because as we all know it had the biggest initial flow-rates. It all went quiet and I scoured the RNSs for waterflood snippets, still daring to dream. In that quiet phase we had Leo Koot say that on waterflood you judge him by the barrels of water going in because those will be barrels of oil coming out in 6 months time. The next scheme has been up and running since late June 2018. They have pumped 79k barrels in at 1500 bwpd. They have established connectivity and building reservoir pressure and it seems to be working. As at the last investors meeting video and previous update announcement Leo Koot made clear they have had no oil out yet while the water does its work in the reservoirs. But if we add 6 months to the end of June and we look at bwpd are we looking at 1500 bopd by the end of December just from waterflood in Goudron? Lets take all that with a pinch of salt and say those numbers are far too optimistic. Lets say they only achieve 500bopd. Only. You see my point? I still believe in this team and waterflood is all over their CV. Could be a company changer before we get to the SWP plan.

they will deliver on this - I am as confident as one can be about that in this industry. I am pretty sure they keep this as upside in their back pocket given it is hard to know when it will start boosting production. Under promise, over deliver ....

TA are very hard to get right, certainly calling reversal trends at the right time is a fine art very few get right. In fact they get it wrong so often, hence they spread the risk across a portfolio. Some forget that and over expose them into one share. Very high risk. Also, a TA is merely part of a toolbox to guide a decision. So again, you spread the risk by getting many datapoints/input that inform your decision. INFORM your decision not REPLACE your decision. If you base your call on TAs, well that is incredibly....errr how can I call this...carely (read: daft)
