are far too technical and tell you nothing about when money will be made. That is fine, MTR keeps its investors up to date. The suggestion however that these technical updates will boost the sp is very misleading. That simply does not happen. Doesn’t matter if you get one these each week for the next months. It’s good progress and at some point the SP will follow when the company can demonstrate how it will turn these assets into cold hard cash.
So, I find it intellectually dishonest to convince peeps these technical RNSs (which tell you nothing of commercial significance) will boost the SP. Look at the timelines on the company website and base you position on those would be my view. If you are already in, well....just be patient.
the market is about ii’s, not pi’s, and increasingly more so. II’s have increased their stakes in CERP, which means the market is increasingly interested and engaged into CERP and LK. Simples.
You make an interesting point, Chesh! I have to say, I really don’t know who to choose between these two? Do I go for a successful entrepreneur, or a wannabe know-it-all? I have to say, it’s a tough call!
(are Dross&Irene married or is it just a fling?)
Indeed, some of the trolls have been arguing for years Spain was a stone around CERP’s/LGO’s neck. Now that it is gone the will no doubt scream how bad today’s RNs is :-)
If they had any intellectual integrity they would now say how good today’s news is.
Anyway, I believe in focus and Spain was always a distraction. It’s now gone, and so full focus on the roadmap. Single-minded-obsession will lead to great results.
that’s one way of looking at it. Not that you are wrong. I just want to point out that for loads on small caps on aim you read the same narrative; sh’s get bombarded by all sort of technical info which builds to the excitement. Often people seem to forget the basics, i.e. “all good and well but when will said companiy start commmercialising”. It’s called running a business. No tomorrow without today (whilst you are throwing one liners )
if you believe in this, story then no need to be frustrated. If people build their expectations based on twitter ramp-brigade than frustration is almost a given. Mind you they will be right one day, and then point that at all for all to hear (whilst ignoring all the deviously exaggerations they posted all the years before). Still they could be right one day :-)
so what is the timeline for commercialisation for MOD’s assets. That is all I want to know. No point in talking about the price of a commodity if you haven’t got any to sell.
Indeed! I do wonder what LK means by considering his options? Hope his not going to appeal. Just want them to draw a line under this and move on. It’s been a distraction for as long as I can remember.
If he can somehow recover costs, fine, but other than that: let’s move on from this.
thank you, I did not know that. Learning still. Sincerely hopes this delivers on your expectations btw. I will jump on it when the train leaves. Hope I don’t miss it when it happens :-)
correction between now and autumn 19 in theory. I mention spring on the back of Bonkers’ charts....assuming he is optimistic (and I merely a careful observer). Hence I assume not much is likely to happen before spring....hence the 6 months window
hmmm....as someone who is waiting until spring to decide to buy this share or not.....does that mean latest equity raise only keeps the lights on for a good year; i.e. till 09/19 before a new placing is needed as things currently stands? And if so does that mean MTR will really need to deliver on its promise between spring and autumn otherwise more dilutio? So, a 6 months window to deliver?
he is right: it is important, certainly as CERP is now evaluating how it can sell (some of) its oil in future directly ... which will be sold at....Brent! :-)
See, LLL, is really just a ramper in disguise!!!
