you are missing the point when it comes to SWP: what this company has set out to do, is demonstrate there is recoverable oil down there. Once done sufficiently, the SWP will be sold to a company that is far better placed than little CERP. Majors don’t look at bopd, they look at proven potential because they know they are far better at delivering bopd.
September has been fun so far, but we all know we can expect a lot more of October! The heard hasn’t even arrived yet. As soon as they get what the SWP is all about, this will truly start to lift off and it will September look like kids play. All IMHO
Confidence in the BOD is everything. I am not going to join the witch hunt for CW, the past is the past. But suffice to say there is too much negativity around his persona. Equally suffice to say that the latest 2 RNSs put TB forward as the main man of AOGL. I think that is no coincidence, and believe the market would warmly welcome him to take over as CEO.
My fellow LTHs won’t like me so much now, but I am not a fan of the 2nd RNS. I have no issues about the content, as I do about the timing of it. Yes, you can argue it shows confidence in Saffron, but until a economic success, too soon to bank on it. Call me old fashioned but deliver first and than change payment. They should have waited until the results of the drilling, announce exactly the same RNS and implement it Jan 1st.
So, not too happy about it and suspect sp will take a hit.
