They are reflecting on all there comments and posts (" we must have said something right, guys?! Surely we said something correct? Nothing? Really?!!!")
Now that we have some facts, I wonder how you reflect on your previous statement:
"They have improved their marketing in a big way and we can expect to see more offers like this. The board should be proud of what they have achieved so far"
*how far was your tally off
So Am, how was your tally of the 28k of sales?
"revenues grew at a slower pace than expected. Full-year revenue increased to £0.03m (2021: £nil) while the pre-tax loss rose to £5.99m, up from £3.33m in the previous year."
Any more top-ups coming from you, Am?
The Christmas cracker jokes are out early this year
You read my mind, lol!
utterly bonkers! Those hoping for the RTO better read that financing deal in detail and ask themselves some good questions
Always terrible to see these stories. Genuinely feel for you. Many of us have been here (on one occasion or another).
CBX was always an ill conceived idea I felt. Originally I was interested because the technology seemed to have edge. Had they tapped into the existing CBD market (the more health benefit part of the market where the bulk of the business sits) they could potentially had a nice story, because they had a point of difference. Consumers are buying here in and all you need to do is switch them from brand A to CG. "everything you love but now with an extra edge" type of approach.
Instead they decided to enter the tiny part of the market which requires either to be happy with tiny levels of sales, or to have to invest huge sums in marketing (which was always going to be beyond reach of CBX) to create a new category and consumer habit.
Could there be alternative ways of funding? Investment from a larger organisation, for example to have the first right of refusal following a positive drill? Wouldn't be the first time. ....just a thought
this company seems very poorly run. The have "brands" with low gross margins and therefore no ability to invest in marketing, whilst operating in competitive markets. As a result these brands decline continuously. The business then does not have critical mass and things go from bad to worse. It is just all very ill conceived IMO.
and with little synergies what so ever. Other than the listing. Sure they can fire the entire CG staff but then what? There is hardly any significant amount of sales you can take over from CG. So the newco at best will be equally loss making at best (assuming they get rid off the entire CG which is doubtful). Doesn't appear to be a brilliant idea, this RTO, does it?
There is scientific evidence behind the benefits of CBD. Probably more on the pharmaceutical side but certainly not on the cosmetic side.
The bigger point Windows is highlighting is the scrutiny CBD is under. That is a fact. FSA, remember...
The entire UK CBD category (excl medication) is a lot smaller than 1bn. And the cosmetic part within that is tiny. To suggest this cosmetic part is going to grow miraculously to 1bn is beyond ridiculous. Nothing stops you from wishing that but to state it as a fact is misleading at best.
Btw, if the market was this big as you hope it is, you would be 24/7 keeping a tally on the sales via the website and you would have zero time to chat here :)
lol!
about 18p/share
Ask Dodge, he claims to have kept a tab on all sales....must be true then!
you guys are loading up so much you must be balls deep by now
How much money have you lost on this share, Am?
CBd and beauty is a fad. It doesn't work anywhere. Wake up guys
I praise your wisdom: you bought at 20p and have waited since then to now top up at 1.5p. My hat off to you, sir.
