Isb,
No he didn't you should listen to it again.
He said on a 2 year outlook from then there should be no reason not to have a 0 on the end on the mcap. So again its up to the market what the mcap is based on future business as opposed to Paul saying it will be. Bit of a difference just to avoid a narrative being taken as gospel.
The basis of the financial deal that Paul did with Magna remains remarkable when you look at how difficult it is for smaller companies raising cash in todays markets.
Magna exclusive agreement expires at the end of June 2025 - so they expect to reap the benefits before then. I would expect that SEE and Magna will be so wedded by then that an extension of the original deal may occur or a new one written.
Interesting walk round.
The tweet mentions Nissan, which IMO Seye are part of. But at the end of the clip he shows a Honda, one of ours (IMO) .
Fairness to Martin, he's trying to show that DMS /Interior sensing is everywhere.
DMS is now mainstream. Tesla admit to needing it. They'll go it alone however Elon sayimg it is needed is another oem saying it is vital. Tesla are no competitor, they do their own thing, not selling dms.
Nice of you to think SEE could be as big as Mobileye but i just dont see it.
Probably a buyout (subject to those that hold 10% of the company not stopping it) at about the $3-4bn mark but who knows could be more. π΅π
The BMW Group sold more than 215,000 fully electric vehicles worldwide in 2022, which represents an increase over the previous year of almost 108 per cent. Fully electric vehicles accounted for just under 9 per cent of total sales volumes last year, and this share is set to increase to 15 per cent in 2023.
By 2030 at the latest, the BMW Group is looking to reach a situation where fully electric vehicles claim a more than 50 per cent share of its overall sales.
The BMW Group views FCEV technology (Hydrogen) expressly as a potential addition to the drive technology used by battery-electric vehicles.
I believe BMW , who use Toyota hydrogen cells will make about 100 of the iX5 Hydrogen cars to distribute worldwide to certain groups for testing over the next few years.
Seems very odd that 2 weeks ago the CFO posted about the annual report and was saying how excited he was to be part of th company and excited.
Then is dumped (appears with no notice), and the search for a new CFO is ongoing, and suddenly in 2 hours they found one who incidentally was the temp CFO who organised the brilliant fundraise.
Not sure the old (recent) CFO appreciates the speed, or inside staff who maybe didn't even get a chance to apply.
All very strange goings on.
