The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Isb, Paul didn't say 10x market cap by Dec 2024. Look it up.
I think Paul should write a strongly worded letter to the oems and tell them to declare their hands or else we'll take our football home. Think that'll work.

Market shenanigans..... Nothing moree folks
May well sell Some elsewhere to float more here.
Wait and see if 75 fails first
Everyone is going to say they can do rearview mirrors.
Im aware of Magna having at least 2 wins (SOP starting early 2024). Not aware of any other wins by others to date.
SEE expect 40-50% total market share. Someone has to win the rest.
Really starting to doubt what Stifel are actually doing for the company.
If anyone can find even a press release on the 4th Annual International Technology Conference in New York, on 20 June, 2023 that they are holding where SEE are attending can you post it here.
David I do indeed remember the 2018 event!
Last time we had free beer at an investor meet and a few made good inroads into it.
I am certainly not dismissing AI and Synthetic data. It seems that SEE want to use both to provide a more accurate system.
The tie up seems to suggest a system for oems and various NCAP bodies to assess dms/oms systems, ours and others.
Phil, not sure you did read Tim's caveats on synthetic data. I assume Tim knows what he is talking about but then who knows.
While synthetic data offers a path to reduce the cost, complexity and time for validation, we
caution that synthetic data on its own should not be regarded as the silver bullet that magically solves these challenges. Do not believe your eyes.
Yeah fair enough Phil, QC is an odd beast as it's embedded but as you say optional.
It's just the volumes that SEE are producing now and will going forward are hard to reconcile with what we think we should be counting.
Just an opinion....
Are we getting paid for the license if the IP is in the car irrrespective of being used ?
It's hard to get to the vol SEE have with just Supercruise, Bluecruise, ActiveGlide etc which we take as the some of the proxy for volume. Maybe the volume is coming from the fact that if SEE IP is on a chip in a car whether being used or not (as it can be activated at a later date?) SEE get paid a license fee.
Note that Smarteye since last June 2022 claimed 1m cars on the road - yet there has been virtually no press on DMS being used in any of their supposed wins. I expect they were paid and in some models DMS never was activated?
Also note from the RNS dated Nov 2022 where Paul stated:
"it is tremendous to see cars on road, fitted with our technology"
He says "fitted" not "using".
Maybe that's why our volumes don't necessarily reconcile to what we think....
