With SEE and EROAD partnering in Aug this move by EROAD will expand the N America market. Yes its next year but they seem to want to become a big player.

Yes I think we (et al) underestimate how good the technology is and the team driving it are. People, particularly those lacking understanding under-appreciate the areas in which SEE are working.

Very happy with my buy this morning... Time will tell.

A lot has changed since June 2018.
Legislation albeit talked about has progressed a lot, understanding and acceptance of how integrated dms will be, Telsa messing up definitions, electrification speeding up with new powertrains and bases.
No way decisions on "minimum order numbers" worked out in 2018 bear any relation to whats happening now. IMO DYOR

Another excellent interview with Nakul Duggal.

Name dropped SEE a couple of times and made it clear DMS is central to ADAS functionality as well as infotainment. OEMs are asking for silicon that covers both and Snapdragon Ride and Snapdragon 4 are primed.

I am interested in seeing how easily Qualcomm and Renault made the new vehicle to be upgraded to the 4th generation later on down the line.

Yes this is an excellent listen from NTSB who are responsible for strategic policy in USA.
They now have a chair who will hold the appropriate agencies and OEMs to account.

'DMS should be non negotiable '
Listen to that and see where DMS will be and thats USA who are behind Europe. There should be no doubt and as Qualcomm stated, 'every OEM assumes DMS is part of our discussions'.......

Using specially designed cameras, the car will track your face and constantly adjust the display to make it appear 3D without you needing glasses to make it work. We found it to be slightly distracting at first, but quickly became accustomed to the technology. It doesn’t quantifiably improve your life over a standard digital screen, but it sure is cool, and you can turn the 3D mode off if you want a normal screen experience. Where you might see improved performance is from the advanced cameras’ other uses. Phil, sounds like you read the Inderes board and they have linked all Cerence with Seye, in particular Timo who should know better. My point was not general, it was specific on Cerence.

Cerence are in Merc S class and BMW. Both of which are/will be SEE and work well together.
They also believe all Nvidia will be Seye. Which is clearly wrong as also not all QC will be SEE.
If you want to wait on definitive data, ie an rns, fair enough. We knew about BMW years before confirmation, same with Merc. We know about Ford... Or do we, since no rns?

Seye fans have made a big thing about if Cerence are in a car then the chances are the DMS is Seye.

Well here is an article posted about Mbux in the S Class. This was posted by Cerence on their twitter account saying how proud they were about being in the S Class.

And there is some good info on DMS and cameras in the car. So Cerence and SEE work well together.
