RE: What a backtracking slime ball!29 Sep 2019 10:57
copperpot you question my democracy lol!!
I get your position, you are a remainer and against leaving the United States of Europe after losing the vote and want to over turn that vote, but as it doesn't suit you, being a UPL shareholder, you resort to using words like 'slime ball' against someone you do not know that has possibly stymied what Sarawak are hoping to do in gaining some of their own independence. I think you was attacking Boris for using similar language. Typical!!
I am democratic, like most other leavers. If we had lost that vote 52/48 do you think we would have gone over all this chicanery for the last 3yrs? Sure there would have still been groups pushing for us to leave Europe, there always have been, but the vast majority would have sucked it up and moved on.
I am not surprised you mention Scotland as they too want to keep having referendums until they get the answer that they want just like you. If Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland wanted to leave the Union and vote in a referendum to do so I would not stand in their way. I hope they don't but as a 'democrat' I would honour the vote.
No your 'little Britain' comment was a dig at Britain standing on it's own as if it should not.
Ahh so we will be on our knees just like we were supposed to be the day after the vote, right.
You can use all the analogies and scenarios you wish, the buying a house one is one of the more popular one's which is no surprise but quite ridiculous to be comparing the two.
To have another referendum without enacting the first is very dangerous and undemocratic and most MPs know it and that is why they are using every trick in the book and bending the rules to prevent Brexit long enough that everyone is fed up and make it plain another referendum is the only way. However it is backfiring and anger is growing but I am sure we will have seen nothing yet if another referendum is called.
You are so far adrift of real feelings while sitting pretty in Eire that you think a second referendum will finish this once and for all. The Liberal Elite will never let there be an end to leaving, and if it is overturned there will be a lot of unrest.
