Just looked at the Bosch press release re CES/LV and it does mention 2 start-up companies with whom they have collaborated - no mention of Starcom. Not being a twitterer, I don't know if Starcom has drawn attention to any particular item on the PR that is relevant to us.

Hope the tactic fails due to PI's tight grip - then it will backfire and take us to 3.5.

This deal is far from a corporate takeover, so is not likely to impinge on Bosch's sp. It is therefore in place to control marketing (IMHO) of this particular (customised) product. Once launched, Starcom will be able to refer to their part in its development, but I suspect they will only be able to sell variants of the product to comply with an exclusivity contract. To the distributor, this is just another product in its catalogue, to Star it is a major endorsement on quality and value and a launch pad that will serve as a door opener into other global outlets. The more successful Star become, the more "The Distributor" will be pleased to acknowledge us - especially when we lose the microcap tag.

Indeed Mungo, we have other irons in the fire. There would be some logic in holding off the "euro" deal until the UN tender is settled, as a positive followed by a negative could put us back to where we are now. If both are positive then I guess we would have two RNS's in quick succession. Whatever Marketing strategy is involved, we are just weeks away at worst.

Pity CES is a bit far to go and check it out. Will someone from Starcom be there though? I would think they'd have a rep in attendance if their product was being peddled.

CB did not mean it was your prediction, you just pointed is in their direction - learnt that timings are not always accurate, no matter where their point of origin - a bit like Chinese Whispers - the more filters they pass through, the less accurate becomes the content and timing. We know it can't be much longer, just depends on the elasticity of the string.

Sorry, subtraction not my strong point - should have said only 22 hours, so even sooner. I tend to think in broader terms tomorrow=3-4 days, by Friday =5-10 days, next week = 3-4 weeks. And if close to Christmas, add 2 more weeks. I'm thinking of taking up paint watching in my spare time, it's the next best thing to share watching and not such a jolt to the metabolism as F1. We are on the grid and as soon as they've changed those light bulbs we will be bracing ourselves for the G-force as the team top-up the tyre pressures. It takes as long as it takes, but knowing it is no less frustrating.

Kylos seems to be an "all things to all men" solution. I think the 7.5p prediction by Year End is very conservative, but I think I'll hang on until Bosch (or similar) buys us out.

I would like the News mentioned to hit the headlines today, but I am a bit sceptical - can't keep the lid on this much longer though. I wonder if any of the biking fraternity of journalists have grasped the significance of "production line installation" of motorcycle trackers? We might see these launching in March, prior to new registrations. All speculation until someone makes it official.

Can't see me selling up this year, so not too concerned about short term, but expect a few to lose their heads once the Bosch news hits the tipsters in-tray. If all goes well in LV in 2 weeks, questions will be asked and major wholesalers will want to know how thorough the testing has been - there is only so long something this significant can be contained.

the fact that they have disclosed a non-disclosure agreement, suggests that both parties are aware of the interest - and we will keep scratching the scab off this sore. We all want this deal to be a profitable success story but keeping it under wraps is a bit like shutting the stable door after the horse bolted. No news until Feb might be a bridge too far.
