Harley Davidson have been promoting their new range electric bikes lately, They have used LoJack tracking on the petrol bikes but according to the owners blog, not without problems like "enters sleep mode after 3 days" - so a garage theft whilst owner is on holiday can be expensive. Hopefully, Starcom has a solution for them, as well as the oft mentioned CropX, Bosch and UN deals - would be great if at least a couple of them are confirmed in the next dispatch.

The directors are satisfied with the (financial & non-financial) KPI's.....

In fact we bottomed out a month ago. Come mid Sept we should see a pick-up in interest with news and analysis due between then and year end. Hopefully we will push beyond the May values as the smell of oil gets stronger. I'm dreaming of a black Christmas and a Stellar new year..

Quite right cd66. They don't like it up'um. The doomsday brigade hate to have reasoned debate, prefering to attack individuals rather than challenge the facts - someone stated earlier that Icewine2 covered over 600 acres - tripe !
Icewine2v is a 12 inch diameter hole, and at the bottom is a matrix of fractured rock which extends somewhere near 1000 feet in all directions (a bit like an inverted lollipop). That would not even cover 1 acre. The HRZ as a whole covers hundreds of thousands of acres with 88e's share being equivalent to near 400,000 acres. I really can't be bothered to yet again dig out the accurate figures because 600 acres is so glaringly misleading. It is like saying a Telephone Box is as big as a Ford Transit - it is so obviously not that taking out a tape measure to prove it is just pandering to the nonsense.

88E does not need saving - it is not sinking, it's floating on oil.
Some of the PI's on the other hand, are in panic mode because they have lost faith - despite all the re-assurance from factual research, the blind prefer to follow the blind.
My Sipp is under water at present (avg 2.4), but I've been under water before. Panic is the divers worst enemy, logic is thrown out of the window. Much of the conventional oil on the North Slope originated from the HRZ, migrating upwards until it hit an impermeable layer. The vast majority of oil is still trapped in the HRZ - the problem is determining the best way to get it out. Every attempt costs money - so far PI's have funded these exploratory projects and the data gathered is now being divulged to other commercial parties. I have no doubt that a deal will be struck or that it will devalue my ultimate sell-out price, maybe as much as 60-70% - but £70% of £5 is still £1.40 per share. I'd rather see us get on with proving up this venture over 2/3 years with a wealthy partner, than keep pouring personal funds into this venture and end up with 100% of 30p in 10-15 years.
I know that all SP predictions are a shot in the dark, but still hoping for 3-5p by Christmas, and doubling it on the first successful conventional well with 50% extra for subsequent successes (all based on a secret formula, with copious amounts of optimism).

It would be nice to see the USA distribution deal announced before the Sept half year results. Can't see any brand sell-off unless they are recognised on at least 2 continents, hopefully 3 or 4.

There is nothing we can do to speed up the process so impatient investors would help the rest of us if they sell up or shut up. Just like them there apples, they take time to mature until ready to pick. A bit of cross-pollination can help increase the yield (bigger products) through "hybrid vigor" - but it still takes as long as it takes.
I'm hoping for triplets in Q1 from Horseshoe, Bravo and Stellar - but would be happy with twins - however like them apples, it cannot be rushed.... no matter how many men you put on the job, it still takes 9 months to make a baby !

Assuming DW takes up his options, I believe he will be in the Top10.

Being an experimental well, it is not a surprise that there may need to be several attempts to "get it right". It is a disappointment that the first well has not produced oil, but it has provided enough data to start farm-in discussions - so a partial success, definitely not a 100% failure. I wonder whether we will have one ore two laterals from the FB site next summer - if the partner chosen can fund it, why not (maybe 3)!
Does anyone know what the average number of attempts is for a vertical shale well to produce oil?
Hopefully, we will achieve it in less attempts than average - but that's the problem with exploration companies - they never can tell in advance, like me, they only hope to beat the average.,

I'm a bit dubious of your project management skills. A primary objective is not an exclusive project. When you mention secondary objectives taking priority, by definition that means your objectives have changed and the secondary is now primary. That is not the case with 88e. More usual is that a primary hits an obstacle (like winter) so rather than send people home with no pay, you deploy them elsewhere. It is simply a question of getting best value for money bu using resources (including the PM) most efficiently. I have often managed several projects over a period, and the one with the highest priority is often not the first to be completed.
