Insufficient volume to stimulate a rise in sp. Investors are holding until good news hits the airwaves.
Keeping my powder dry for that day (thus not getting my squib damp).
LTH's (by definition) hold their position until market conditions are conducive to making a return of profit.
This requires confidence in their own decision to invest in a business that will ultimately be successful.
Traders on the other hand rely on damp squibs to buy cheap and sell when they dry out at a premium. They are rarely present when the squid eventually explodes (if it ever does). In that case market turbulence is of more benefit than corporate success.

A squib is a "small explosive device" - in my childhood they were called "bangers".
As for Jim Nominees, it has a smaller holding than any 10.eandom posters on this BB. A micro version of HL.

Moneyhawk, Icewine2 may be on the edge of the fairway, but where have you found confirmation that the whole Franklin Buffs area is outside the fairway? The Alpha field touches FB so we could exploit it as well as HRZ from there. We are well within range of a sidetrack.

The point is Alpha conventional is reachable from FB all year round, and another core sample of HRZ 0.5 km north of Ice#1 would be cheap and useful . I think FB compound is close to 1km long but I don't know if anyone else occupies the N-end.

If it is a great deal which includes 3 wells next winter, I suspect we will have a small rise in sp. If we get cash up front which allows us to sidetrack Ice2H, it will rise higher and faster (IMO).
If we could relocate to the Northern end of FB we could get new cores for HRZ and poke a hole into Alpha but would we get permits for this year?
Can't see us getting a bad deal as there are other parties waiting in the wings, the speed at which our partner ìs willing to move is likely to have most impact.

There may be more conv. to the West and better HRZ to the East. The FB location gives us summertime prospects and a good place to patch into the pipeline. As for demarkation of the fairway, the sweetspot down the middle is probably less useful than knowing where the "riverbank" is on either side - looks like Ice1 is right on the south bank.
Hopeful that the 3p SP is a tad conservative for late June.

My guess is that the majority of the fairway was under our leases (no-one ever said "we've got the entire fairway") - so the RNS suggests that is still the case, but possibly a few corners have been shaved off.
If we have identified non productive areas, then we can lapse those leases (and make room for a few more, whilst staying under the maximum 500,000 acres).
Some areas that have no HRZ "fairway appeal", may however contain Conventional Oil or Gas, or possibly a water supply to support drilling/fracking activity- so could still have value. WDKWWDK.
We have not been told how far Icewine 1&2 is from the volatile stuff (50mtr, 250mtr) - maybe we need to drill at the other end of FB. I agree with Cat, Baz got the 25 score on the first attempt most majors would give him a job if he's that good (and several did!).

Not expecting a stampede, but we should gather some momentum over the next few weeks.

WAaussie, so many bruised punters, no surprise that reaction is subdued. Some anticipated the big deal on a silver platter, so will be unresponsive - BUT, it is a good indicator that the FO is near the finish line and many on the sidelines will start buying back or adding to their holdings over the next 2-3 weeks before this changes up a gear.
The tipsters will tickle the markets too, that should put more light on the subject.

Forgotten the weeks not months, I'm in the hours not minutes club. At last clinic told "see you in 8 weeks" - that was 17 weeks ago (sounds familiar). Today is just adding insult to injury - God Bless the NHS.
