jh2704 - charting ALONE is not sufficient to make trading decisions, and there are plenty of people with sloppy charting techniques on Twitter so their comments are worth ****.
The only one whose charting I respect on a regular basis is @Borg74, keep an eye on his posts. And he admits when he makes mistakes.
Most other people interpret signals to suit their own views.

That's the deadline to make submission to the CMA, not a decision date. The RNS of 7 April states that the CMA has referred the matter to a stage 2 investigation, what the CMA said it would do if no submission are made to it.
So that apparently meanst that Sig was not planning to make that submission by today, and it will take more time to have a decision...

Hi all. There were claims of news of some sort expected today, but I cannot see what it could be.
(I know the sign-off of the disposal for 37.5m by the CMA is awaited, but I didn't see a specific due date for today.)

Canny investors (vs traders) would stay away due to the explicit warning issued a couple of weeks ago, of a possible breach of loan covenants.

The apparent business rates cancellation for the next 12 months probably helps companies with large overheads (i.e. physical space costs) like Cineworld.

Whether this will make up for the business shortfall is another question. This is a company to trade right now, but I wouldn't be long in the medium-term until we have an idea of when cinemas will re-open.

When the SP dropped from 43.58 I thought some bad news had leaked and was about to sell. The flow of buys, especially that 220k share buy, suggests it was primarily profit taking.

That's another sharp-ish rise for a low profile share. I'm now of the belief that a deal is being negotiated with the DoJ... I don't claim to have any other information not already in the public domain though.

If I read your post correctly, you are instead referring to end of day SP (except for "today") of course.

If so, then it provides highly incomplete info to get good feedback without an actual chart, sorry.
