It just looks like the share is stuck in a trading range again. I'm starting to wonder whether the only thing that will lift the SP up to the high 20s and beyond is a takeover, or a sale of the DTU tech with a subsequent dividend to share holders (all pure academic speculation from me).

I’m with Jester here - the 28 March RNS indeed explicitly said that the flow test would start as soon as the approval would be received. With an extra two weeks for the grant of approval, one would even more expect the flow test to have started now. I don’t doubt that PVF will start it sooner rather than later and that this is only a small mishap, but it is also another example of an explicit statement of timings and project management from the BoD that’s been outright wrong. Either the writers of the RNS deliberately made overenthusiastic (/reckless) claims when writing the 28 March RNS or they were fed inaccurate info by PVF whose realism they did not check (or not well enough). I still expect the SP to multiply sooner rather than later on the basis of GH alone (hence my being here - and despite Taxibabe’s attempts to reinvent contract law and rewrite past RNSs), but I am not holding my breath about the team’s ability to actually deliver any other project until proven otherwise.

My rough calculation based on the number of shares back in July 2017 and the price of the recoverable oil back was 5p per share approx. And that was with a substantial discount to take into account how so many oilies are undervalued etc. From the top of my head, taking into account the extra dilution since then but also the higher oil price now, we should be at about the same level of 5p per share. That's why it should be multiples.

A "non-RNS" is still too harsh IMO. Regulatory approval is always a big thing - hey, AST have been waiting for theirs to be fully truly finalised for more than two years!!! Based on the value of the recoverable oil at PL2002-01 and ignoring the MFDevCo potential, the SP ought to be multiples of where it is now.

PVF not having immediately started the flow test did not impress some, and I cannot blame them. Indeed, inaccessibility or not, based on past RNSs and e-mails to PIs, it was implied that they would end the flow test in mid-late August 2017!! On top of it, the claim that there were no weather issues back last winter was fully contradicted with the RNS earlier this year stating that there had been extreme weather conditions. No wonder we have not witnessed a big boom today just yet. Nevertheless, PVF is still there officially so it certainly confirms they still see the worth in that field, and we now have no administrative barriers left.
