RE: Contrasting Strategies: Noble's Smart Backup Plan vs. HE1's Risky One-Shot Approach9 Jun 2023 17:41
One issue for me is how much do we trust NHE and what they proclaim? I am not knocking them, and you will see from my previous posts that I have been very complimentary about them. BUT, when it comes to trusting everything they say, I'm not so sure. In their recent webinar, they disclosed that they had been working on a capital raise for 6 weeks. Yet during that period, they were pumping the farmout at every opportunity. Makes me think that they were saying one thing publicly, and doing something entirely differently behind the scenes.
And then when you reflect on some of the oddities of the eventual farmout announcement they made, it does make me wonder whether there was in fact a blind date, who won the race and left a string of other bidding pearls disappointed, or whether it was all fiction. And then it makes you wonder about the rest of their comms, particularly around post discovery planning and interest.( I'm not even sure I'm convinced NHE will end up drilling their second target, as opposed to raising the money for it, but as a hedge against a duster on the first, and giving themselves some room for manoeuvre in this scenario.)
Granted we aren't getting much comms from He1, but when LB does communicate, I'm glad that she comes across as a straight talker, and not someone you have to listen to and then question what is being said in your mind as much. All imo and dyor
