This is not investment advice - I am not qualified to give that - but have you ever thought of having a second pot here as more of a trading pot? That way you could make money on the current share price action, and if or when it takes off in the way that you strongly believe, you could then add it to your main holdings?

I know some experienced LTH investors do adopt this approach, whilst waiting for that inflection point and take off?

AG/GH - you are both genuine LTH here with strong and almost unshakeable conviction. Although I have taken a bit of stick from GH in particular, I admire these qualities. The way I look at it, is if LTH don't win in these markets, then what hope do any of us have really? So in that sense, our interests are aligned, and if this investment comes off for you, then you will each have really earned it, in the face of the current 'trials and tribulations'.

But, I have to say, that I agree with Tygra on this one. Right now, to the extent that there is any money making opportunity in this share, I also see it as being more of a trading opportunity than a LTH. In order for this view to change, I personally will need to see the following types of developments:

1) Share price above 0.17p.

2) Naheed secures non dilutive financing for ORCP. (The irony of a RNS raising £350k and mentioning associations with billion dollar companies and a rich Sheikh is not lost on me.)

3) Naheed secures funding for the project(s).

4) Some other RNS that results in 1 above. [Could be the DFS, Gold, Coal - anything really, it matters not.]

Only then would I start to believe as you do. GLA

AG1989 - I think your question might be aimed at Tygra, because I haven't taken any action in respect of ORCP, either on the previous drop or the current one. So far, and its not always easy, I have acted consistently with my beliefs and views on here, in terms of whether to buy or not, and if so when. Not a straightforward decision as I am sure you will appreciate - but then when are they ever straightforward on AIM shares?

D2B - probably best not to trust anyone on a BB, especially when it comes to buy or sell decisions. We are but strangers to each other after all, with our own biases and motivations. But if you have been on a BB for a while, you probably do gain enough confidence in a few posters who you do think are genuine, even though you might not necessarily agree with their views all the time. And equally, others who you suspect are... well... suspect.

Differentiating between them also calls for sound judgment I guess.

Yes, but will the DFC only release funds if and when Bres can match them? That's the key question and will depend on the terms of the DFC's grant, which details we don't have from MR. Investors and potential investors need to know what funds Bres needs to raise and by when, in order to meet the DFC's terms. I would imagine the DFC will try to make it as easy as possible for Bres, and it will be tranche payments by both parties throughout the completion of the DFS, or will they expect Bres to show its own "proof of funds" up front and before it will release grant payments?

Bit confused now, wouldn't it have been more apt to say "water off an aligator's back"?

Notrex - thanks for the response. The liquidity will return at some stage, it usually always does. Chart will tell you that. I'm sure there's all sorts of ways of doing it without crossing the notification thresholds, especially if you are doing it in concert rather than single entities. Anyway, it matters not I guess, it's more about whether or not one sees upside from these levels or further downside before such a point is reached.

I dunno folks. Been tracking this one for a while, but just wondering how are Bres going to raise the other $5 million for this DFS and the dilution that is likely to involve? I suspect this is what is holding back the share price at 5p, and I guess MR will need to come out and explain where the other 50% is going to come from? How much will the DFC give and at what stage, and how much will Bres need to raise and at what stage, in respect of this very expensive DFS?

Some are just blinkered Tygra, or just downright cheerleaders as you say - they won't countenance the possibility even now that this placing appears to have been forward sold. I mean, what else could have caused such a large sell off, only a month or so before a placing (which is probably commensurate with how long it took to sort out and execute)? In the absence of any other explanation, surely these remaining dots are not too difficult to join?

None of us can say for certain - how can we ever - but to not even acknowledge its possibility and indeed probability is just crazy and a disservice to the quality of the BB and its usefulness. All imo and dyor

This is one of those periods where weaker hands get squeezed as much as possible for every last share. In fact, the term 'weaker' is probably unfair to use in this context, because this situation is one that is genuinely difficult for the average retail investor to endure, made all the more so by the lack of any comms from He1, from which they might draw some comfort and conviction. People are instead left to speculate and draw inferences from the price action (which itself might be being manipulated as part of the tree shake) and therefore is no reliable guide as to incoming news flow.

But it is a good environment for reptiles and the like.... all imo and dyor.

Another indicator (for me) is the BB Indicator or the Trolling Indicator, and it has been at extreme readings in recent months.

You probably won't these indicators in any book though... ;-)

Notrex - I don't think the sites that you have used to track any shorts are reliable. We know this share was shorted a few years ago and yet that shorting activity was not picked up, yet was on a mass scale. And I am sure there are ways to get round the 0.5% disclosure rules.

I think it’s the opposite. No communication means things are progressing. If they were not, no reason to delay telling us. Why would they do that and what useful purpose would it serve?

Interesting that he wasn't even asked about drilling, but was keen to slip in at the very end that Noble are drilling in September - that was something that he volunteered himself. Also, they are raising their funds in tranches, so if they don't land the Rig, will it not affect their capital raise for Tranche 2, and getting that voted through?

So unless he's a complete spinster, I would say that the Rig news won't be too far away now?

Does she mean headroom in terms of shareholder authority - which if so, will be renewed at AGM no doubt. Or does she mean headroom in terms of the Prospectus?

The way I look at it, those attacking BT and KAV, were making the same points/attacks when the share price was 1p. I'm glad I didn't listen too much to the noise, as I'm already up nearly 50% on my investment. My only regret was that I didn't take more at 1p.

Always keep your eye on the ball, and what matters. I see more potential upside from these levels, and like FK79 and others, I have a feeling that this Zimbabwe project could be quite tasty and might even end up creating more excitement than Botswana. It's certainly been given a lot of build up by BT, and so I expect it will live up to that 'hype'.

B1 now seems more like a 'free hit', whereas previously it was probably more 'make or break'. There's Ditau, KCB and Zimbabwe, and potentially £4 - 6 million to attack them with. Does that suggest downside or upside from here in the coming weeks and months? All imo and dyor

GH - in answer to your question, I will see where the share price settles after these placing shares are admitted next week, and seeing whether they leave any overhang at these levels. (Despite what the RNS says, I believe it would be naïve to think some of these placees won't flip their shares for a quick profit?)

The problem with "investing" right now is that whatever might or might not happen with the green projects, the undeniable fact is that at this moment in time, ORCP is in a cycle of dilution. These placings are becoming more frequent because they are raising less each time and at lower levels. This placing has only been 4 months after the last one for £500k. So you have to consider how long is this £350k going to last, before ORCP will need to raise again?

The dilution is KEY for me, not just here, but in other AIM shares as well. I would say that its one of the most important factors at any time, but even more so in difficult market conditions. Lots of shares struggling with the tough financial climate, and brokers taking advantage no doubt.

I think most would agree with that James21 - the focus is very much on the green projects now. Only they can really provide upside, unless something dramatic happens with Thar coal, which is possible but unlikely imo.

I'm not bragging about it. But if I make a call, and people call it baseless de-ramping and attack me personally for it, and when that call proves to have been correct, then I have the right surely to come and say 'see, I wasn't de-ramping, but forecasting correctly'. Please try to have some humility, and stop pretending you saw a near term placing as well, because you absolutely did not.

Anyway, let sleeping dogs lie. I did also say that I thought it was better for ORCP to get any placing out of the way before releasing any preliminary DFS, so that is a positive for me. Would others now agree?

Placings don't just come out of thin air. They are usually forward sold. Ask any seasoned investor and they will tell you that often happens. It's not rocket science and we now have the most likely explanation for the sell off a month or so ago. This is merely my opinion. Some will agree, others will disagree. It's all good.
