Sein - let's cut to the chase. You're a bs merchant when it comes to OMI, and I don't have much time for your constant need for validation. I'm sure it's not easy watching this go up and regretting trading out too cheaply. But a normal person would just accept their mistake and move on. What they would not do is pretend it hasn't happened, concoct a 4p average to maintain the pretence, but then talk down any positivity because they secretly can't bear this going up, and watching others make the profits that they could/should have made, but threw away.

That's my executive summary concerning you!

Good to see some early large buys, which have helped retest and pierce through this 26p resistance. If we can consolidate or better 26p in the coming days, i'll be very content indeed, esp with the newsflow we have coming up.

That's correct. The first of the El P results could land any day now. Followed by the MRE in a few weeks.

Who knows, if the current reconaissance drilling at North Pepas goes as well as the current reconaissance drilling at El P - we might have even more good news to celebrate!!!

Large sell orders at this level need to be cleared first - my guess would be that much of this supply must come from remaining warrants?

Either way, excellent timing in terms of the newsflow we are expecting this month. Can't think of a better backdrop against which to drop the Pepas MRE to the market.

Our posts crossed! Exactly, this election is a non event so far as BRES is concerned. The current party will likely stay in power, whether rigged or genuine. There might be some protests and violence, followed by a crackdown. Then it will all settle back down to normal.

I'd say probably 75% of elections in Africa involve allegations of corruption, protests and violence. That's probably an underestimate.

I think we also need to remember that a lot of the other gold juniors on AIM, and those that have reacted more positively in 2026, are driven by a mostly retail crowd. Take WSBN for example, it has multibagged in the last two months, whilst OMI has remained stagnant.

I believe a large part of this is down to the fact that we now have a large institutional shareholder base. This means we aren't going to move in the same way as these retail stocks. Whilst they will see more pump and dump style action over a few weeks and around placings (WSBN is again a good example of this), we are going to see more of this stair stepping action that plays out over months, but results in a more steady uptrend, rather than a rollercoaster of pump and dump.

So it depends what kind of action you're after!

Break - i'm sure your patience will be rewarded. Remember, we had to wait circa 7 months for the previous breakout. This current consolidation is about 4 months old. Not saying it will take another 2/3 months, but just to put the current consolidation into perspective.

When you look at how 2026 has started in terms of the trouble brewing across the world, and then the remarkable decision in the US to go after the Fed Chair - you can see why folk are predicting gold to go well beyond even 5000. Not good for the world, but positive for the gold sector.

We don't have long to wait for El P assays and the Pepas MRE.

Sein, after all that, is this the best you can come up with😂 Like seriously, you attack most others for specifically setting out their reasons, and then come out with this?

Let's get the record straight here:

1) You have a consistent record of needing validation. "I told you this in 2024, and I told you that in 2025, blah blah"

2) You have a consistent record of making incorrect calls - how many times did you laugh down suggestions of 20p for example?

3) You have a consistent record of hindsight buying and selling.

4) You have a consistent record of selling shares too cheaply. [That's the problem with announcing buys/sells - they are on the record].

5) You have a consistent record of avoiding declaring what your actual average is. After months of pressure, you finally came out and revealed it, but told another porky claiming it was 4p. Nobody in their right mind, let alone someone seeking validation, who openly advertises their buys/sells, would hold back that they have a 4p average to prove their doubters wrong. But for some reason, when being attacked, you kept this golden bullet to yourself.

Imho, you're a bit of a bs merchant with, who has likely bothched this trade by selling shares too cheaply.

As for my own calls, not that I need validation, but I said this would hit 20p, and we hit 20p. Yes, I have called 30p and note that we've hit 28p already. I stand by that call and expect to reach the 30s within a relatively short timescale. In fact, I think we will go much higher than the 30s, hence why I still hold in the 20s. Moreover, not sold any shares during this run up. That's my record pal!

You just keep bsitting about having a 4p average, whilst at the same time announing buys all the way into the 20s - it's comical stuff!

Sein - please just explain why you’re a holder and why you bought in the 20s. What upside do you see and why?

It makes no sense. We know that people ramp price targets and the more outlandish of those should be taken with a pinch of salt. But at the very basic level, unless you are a complete idiot, we all buy a stock for one reason only, and that is because we see some upside in it within a particular timescale.

So anyone holding stock in OMI right now can only sensibly be because they expect price to go up.

It would be nice to hear from Sein exactly why HE is holding OMI stock and bought stock again in the 20s? What were/are HIS reasons? Are they technical (if so what?), fundamental (if so what?), or both.

Let's accept that the rest of us are fantasists and overly fanatical when it comes to OMI. Let's completely bin all our outrageous share price predictions, even sillier mcap predictions and false comparisons with other companies. All of us are talking nonsense.

But Sein - what are YOUR more valid reasons for holding OMI and expecting upside? Why don't you share those, instead of talking down and negating those of others? Lead from the front foot, rather than rebutting all the time. It would make a refreshing change.

This is a really baffling statement and makes no sense. OMI has been in a few trading ranges already on virtually the same fundamentals. For example, prior to the current trading range, OMI was in a trading range from Feb 2026 to August 2025, with a low of 6p and a high of 15p. It then broke out and hit 28p. By Sein's logic, there was no real reason for that breakout as that trading range must have indicated "fair valuation". But why did we breakout then?

The story and fundamentals before that breakout are essentially the same story and fundamentals at present - except we now have more cash, have had more positive drilling results, potential new discovery at El P, and some new licences to explore. So arguably more reasons to breakout once more!

Sein - that has to be one of your worst posts. I think in trying to be some kind of standout contrarian, you are starting to standout as something else entirely. When the rest of us read this, I am sure we are left wondering:

1) Is this guy still invested here?

2) Why is he still invested here? Esp if he thinks OMI is fairly valued and doesn't see a reason for upside (and constantly negates reasons/comparisons given by others for why there is upside)?

3) Why did he buy again recently in the 20s?

Surely if you thought a company had reached its fair valuation AND you're a shorter term trader (with 150 positions on the go at any one time), you would sell at the fair valuation top and move onto your next trade?

Once again, your actual posting doesn't fit your oft stated claims to being a long term holder here with a 4p average (or whatever it is right now). Instead of positive reasons for why you're invested and adding, it's been constant challenge, contrarian posting, laced with negativity. The manner and content of your posting is more what I would expect from someone who has in fact traded out all, or a significant part of, their 4p holding, and is now in eternal regret mode, struggling to see and accept the stock go on a significant and continuing run!

This is great announcement for BRES and potentially a game changing development. I wonder if we will hear more from MR about this. Note the following:

- $205 billion investment cap (Maximum Contingent Liability (“MCL”)) – an increase of over 300%.

- Creation of a $5 billion equity revolving fund.

- Increased equity investment authority to 40% minority ownership.

- Increased investment authority to cover all international geographies other than the wealthiest twenty countries.

- "NO MORE THAN 10% OF THE MCL MAY BE USED IN WEALTHY AND OTHER HIGH INCOME COUNTRIES regardless of any country, territory or sector exceptions." (my emphasis)

Looks like the DFC is being mandated and directed towards poorer countries - so i reckon Africa and South America are going to the main beneficiaries of this massive critical minerals investment by the DFC!!!

I should add that we don't actually need to clear ALL of the warrants in order to get the share price moving. We just need to clear the warrants that ARE up for sale at below 7.5p. Realistically, these will largely be the sub 5p warrants (the largest grouping of which was the 4.5p warrants) that have or will be exercised for sale right now. Once these are cleared, it will allow the share price to nudge back above 7.5p. At this point, I would think that 'market psychology' of the whole situation will change in that fomo will start to build again from a slowly rising share price. The initial speed of the rise from 7.5p might well be slow (as more warrants are cleared higher price levels) but I think of it as a train leaving the platform where it starts very slow and then gradually speeds up.

With the newsflow ahead of us, this is what I am expecting to unfold (or hoping to see) over the coming days and weeks. All imho and dyor

Really great summary of the project and its fundamentals. The peer group comparison and valuation at the end is really illustrative of the huge upside here. Whilst taking an average 14.8% of NPV calculation, it should be noted that the two leading producers in the comparison table are trading at an average of over 50% of NPV! For BRES, this would mean a share price north of £1.

Current share price represents only 3-4% of the NPV. Once warrants are cleared, you would expect this to start its journey towards a more realistic valuation. As well as more drilling results, we have upgraded JORC, further offtake, and then funding news to come in Q1. Plenty of newsflow to more than clear the warrants. It's also entirely possible that funding will be secured for phases 1 and 2 (after which the project is self funding) and this moves straight into a much larger production project.

Other than Havieron, OMI's projects are also FAR better than what GGP had elsewhere across the Paterson imho.
