Looking Very Good - still early days27 Jan 2026 11:22
Chart is looking strong folks - we have taken sellers out and are still riding high. This is in contrast to the last time OMI hit these levels. Should set us up nicely for a move to new highs. If we can then consolidate this move, we can start to think about much higher price levels.
Now this is where OMI really comes into its own as a stock. It is at the start of its newsflow cycle for 2026. There are a number of potential catalysts that will cause a move up for the stock, some of which don't even involve making a new discovery. But then there are others that could really blow the roof off, to then take us up to new levels. For example, right now we have the following potential catalysts to look forward to:
1) Pepas MRE.
2) New interest generated by Pepas MRE.
3) Initial results from El P.
4) New interest generated by initial results from El P, inc Newmont sniffing around.
5) Further results from El P - who knows what else they might find?
6) Resource drilling at APTA - so we get to do Pepas style excitement all over again.
7) MRE at APTA - imagine what adding 1.5-2.5million ounces to our tally will do?
8) New interest generated by APTA MRE.
9) Drilling at North Pepas.
10) Drilling at El Cedro.
11) Follow up drilling at El P - this will be aimed at discovery!
12) Line up drilling at LV.
These are just the activities that immediately come to mind. It's nothing short of incredible when you step back and think most of this will land in H1 of 2026. So that's why i'm not that interested in the share price right now. In the short term, it can do whatever it likes, up, down, sideways, whatever. I'm not interested in doing anything right now. Because when you take all of the above into account, you can see that we are still far too early into the story and the newsflow cycle and selling at these levels is an act of self sabotage. Sit on those hands folks, be grateful for what you have here, and watch the above events unfold and the share price will take care of itself - and you! All imo and GLA
