Buy whilst others panic as the saying goes. I think playing for the bounce back is now a very smart play - probably why there are lots of fudsters out today. Pepas is a cash cow in the making. Truth be told, we only ever really needed it to generate enough cash to finance just one of the other and much larger projects into production. So Pepas only really needs to generate about $200 million in profit for OMI and it's mission accomplished.

On today's MRE, it will easily give us OMI a lot more than $200 million and more than enough for fund one of the bigger projects. That's they key point which seems to be overlooked.

I suspect it will need BG to remind us of what the mission is with PEPAS, and that mission would have been achieved with even a 100koz MRE. So to get 200koz we are literally going to be laughing all the way to the bank once this gets into production. We will have the cash to develop APTA, El P, EL C and LV - basically each and any of the much larger projects in our portfolio.

That's what today's reaction has completely overlooked. That OMI is a beast in the making and now has the key from PEPAS to unlock a much bigger war chest of gold.

Once again, posters falling into the trap laid by the fudsters by posting under negative threads. Just ignore them, they are not here to have a genuine discussion, but only to keep their negative threads going. And you keep falling for it by replying under the negative threads.

Yes, the next update from the company will be in July! That is unless they volunteer any information before then, either in a report, or in response to shareholder queries, like they did when Kahuna emailed them. I guess there's nothing stopping any of us asking for an update before the next update in July?

For my part, I also look at the volume of shares traded, and note that we are in a trading range. So I assume that a certain % of the shares traded will inevitably be more warrants being flushed out.

The big unknown, and not even the company can tell you this, is how many warrants the holders will be looking to convert and/or sell at these levels. Certainly it won't be the entire 23 million that are left below 6p. So assuming it's even half of these, and that was the figure left as at 22 Dec, we should now be getting VERY CLOSE to the finish line so far as the sub 6p warrants are concerned.

Again that fits in with the strengthening price action.

1464 - even better than I thought, that update by Kahuna was not last month, but on 22 December 2025!

We've traded above 110 million shares since the start of Jan, so a great many more of these remaining warrants will likely have been converted. It's only the ones below 6p that are "in the money" and likely to be cashed right now. Or put differently, only these that will be impacting the price at these levels. The rest will of course come into play but I suspect only when we are double digits.

I suspect the more savvy investors are scooping up before that JORC upgrade lands - because as Charles' article notes, the drilling results have been exceptionally good, meaning the JORC upgrade is going to be a significant announcement - and it's landing in Q1. The demand at these levels is understandably very high as folk realise that in about 6 weeks or so, these prices are no longer going to be available. So for example, it is unlikely now that anyone is going to be able to buy, or buy big below 7.5p anymore. Within these 6 weeks, there will come a time when shares below 8p will dry up, and then below 9p. All setting us up nicely for the JORC and funding announcements.

Fresh ISA money coming into play in April as well - and with funding likely to be close by that stage, there won't be many better homes for it than BRES.

So last few weeks to accumulate cheap shares me thinks before we go WHOOSH into double digits.

I think the last update on this was the email sent to Kahuna last month which he was kind enough to share with us. At that point, I noted the following:

4p - 2.15m left

4.5p - 15m left

4.65p - 1.26m left

5p - 4.75p

Giving a total of 23.3 million below 6p.

By the way, I didn't tune into OMI for about 9 days. In that time, I thought the MRE and/or El P assays were going to land. But neither mattered because I had no intention of trading on either item of news flow. We are very early into all of our projects here. There is SO much more to come, and I believe so much significant upside. With no dilution risk and £13 million in the kitty, gold at record levels and projected to go higher, i'm more than happy to see this one play out. It will bounce back stronger as more weaker sellers will be out and replaced with stronger hands.

This will mean that when we bounce back into the 30s, we will actually be in a muchstronger shape in terms of the shareholders, than when we entered the 30s in the first place!

All it will take is a green candle to develop at the bottom of this drop, and/or a bullish interview or tweet from BG, and/or a bullish RNS to drop and Nap's rockets will soon be out once more. But then we will know the drop is over and can actually look forward to climbing all the way back up.

That's how the market works and this is just too good a stock with too many big irons in the fire to be kept down for any significant period of time imho.

If shareholders decide to sell on PEPAS being confirmed as a commercial deposit, that's on them, not BG. I think his comms have been superb. I suspect in the days and weeks ahead we might even get to learn from him that the MRE is in fact on the conservative side and the reasons why, with the upside to come. This drop has been orchestrated to allow the big money to come in and accumulate more, aided and abetted by the trolls and fudsters that have suddenly appeared.

Classic tactic of shaking out and sweeping up. If shareholders have fallen prey to it, that's very much on them. The fundamentals of the company just got stronger and now, with the first MRE out of the way, we can all look forward to upside from the rest of the portfolio.

Does Antipa have a $15 million CAPEX? NO

Does it need to build a mine? YES

Does it have the portfolio that OMI has? NO

Or Sprott/Cohen/Durrett on its books? NO

Does it have funds to build a mine? NO

A lot of companies try to play the nearology game from being in the Paterson, but often just end up with moose pasture.

That's one of the best write ups I have ever read, and certainly about BRES. It clearly sets out the huge upside that is developing here for those that get in at these bargain prices, which are only temporarily available because of warrant supply. This is a monster in the making and that JORC upgrade is going to be something else. A multi decade LOM means were are effectively a multi billion dollar NPV project in the making.

Again, the upside potential here is HUGE and soon to become a reality when the funding is announced.

It won't be long before Nap's 🚀 come out. Smart money scooping up the orchestrated drop below 30p. They can see that PEPAS is not the prize here, it's merely the cheque book to opening up the much larger projects, which are the bigger prizes. Today's RNS confirms that the cheque book is very much there and in play. So that mission has been accomplished.

Now, what happens when the 1 - 2 Moz MRE lands for APTA, knowing that we will have the cash from PEPAS to pay for taking those ounces into production? Or when a discovery lands at El Pantano? Ditto

We are basically an explorer that has a near term $1 billion production asset, to then finance all of its future exploration and production. This is the scenario that has just been unlocked. It didn't actually matter what size MRE we had at PEPAS so long as it's capable of funding only ONE of the bigger projects in the portfolio. And at 200koz we have MORE than achieved that objective. When we reveal in a few quarters that APTA is a multi million ounce MRE, it will matter even less that we were 40koz short of the broker's estimate for Pepas MRE!

Keep the focus on what matters!

Nice one Nap - i'm sure you won't be the only one looking to scoop up cheap shares.

Let's also avoid the trap of posting under negatively titled threads. For the OMI believers, post only under positive threads. Don't engage with them as they just want to clog the BB with negative stuff and feed off the fall in the share price, and attack the positives from today's announcement.

Let's see where we close - I can see this drop being eaten up by those that can see the following bigger picture:

1) $1 billion resource confirmed.

2) El P results to drop.

3) North Pepas to come.

4) APTA to come.

5) El Cedro to come.

6) Fully cashed up.

We now have the MRE, and can start to think about the VERY REAL & SIGNIFICANT potential for upside to come here. Don't forget what you hold here - an amazing portfolio led by an excellent geo and fully cashed up to be exploring all four of the world class projects. There is a LOT more gold (and silver) to come here.

All we needed from PEPAS was for it to be a cash cow that will easily fund the company's upside from other discoveries. This objective has been very much achieved and so the fundamentals of the company just got a LOT stronger today. So scoop up as this will bounce as hard as its fallen. Simply too much going for it.

How comes he's never posted here before, yet seems to have been following the stock and what BG has been saying for a while, as well as knowing the posters on this BB?

28.5p was a great buy.

Great top up opportunity around 29p. I expect it will be back above 30p and then we see where the next RNS takes us. This MRE demonstrates that this initial Pepas deposit is a company maker as it is more than capable of funding any new discoveries to production.

So this initial Pepas deposit is confirmed as a billion dollar project. A fantastic start and now it’s a case of adding more ounces with more drilling and hopefully discoveries in the surrounding areas and of course by finding the deeper feeder source.

Just the beginning of a great story.
