Silver Santa has just added another 25%, after earlier today tripling his position.

People are adding big and positioning for a big move up. That's why Tungy and Co are hanging around. They are all accumulating whilst talking this down.

Tomorrow is going to be interesting. Imagine if BG throws a RNS in to put the cat amongst the pigeons.

I should also add that this will be a multi year large base breakout - which tend to lead to the biggest moves up. The move from 10p to 20p is going to happen much faster than most people think, and won't be anything like the slow grind we have seem to get from from 2p to 10p. Once this breaks out, there is NO overhead resistance. It's pure blue sky upside.

Slowly building up a bit of steam. It does seem like all the stock below 9p is being cleared in readiness for a big re-rate here. Potentially dream scenario opening up here in that cheap stock is being taken out of the market in the run up to the big ticket items landing in March/April. At that point, anyone buying or trying to build a large position above 9p is going to really move the price. Imagine what happens if there are literally dozens of such buyers arriving on JORC and funding news?

Now if an insti or two decide to buy in now, that really will put the cat amongst the pigeons.

The situation here is setting up for a big big re-rate!

Obviously we don't have any £5 million trucks. In that respect, GGP is much better. How many does it have btw. I'm genuinely curious now? Did it inherit them or has it been blowing some hard cash on the best that Caterpiller can offer?

According to Google, the BelAZ 75710 is the most expensive mining truck - got any of those at GGP?

Basically, you've seen OMI blow GGP out of the water, haven't liked that one bit, and are now coming on here to have your two pennies worth. That's what it seems like. I don't think a single one of us would trade places with you. We will get a lot more than 20-30% uplift and aren't so easily pleased round here!

Absolutely - I didn't want to say it, but this is where the pure envy comes from. I said a couple of quarter ago that OMI would outperform pretty much all of the goldies on AIM. Someone back then challenged this with GGP as an example. I made the point about upside in explorers v producers, and between OMI and GGP. Since that time, look how many times this has bagged compared to GGP.

GGP is without question a great company and far more advanced, de-risked, bigger, and securer outfit than OMI. But this is the market, not a beauty contest. Great companies don't always mean the best investments.

Probably all of us had a choice to invest in GGP and/or OMI at the start of this bull run. Is anyone that chose GGP better off than those of us that went for OMI? Even with this 40% haircut?

Defintely needs a Trucking Study though!

Pepas will, of course, need some studies doing, but I very much doubt it needs a DFS, or even a PFS. We are not talking about a complex and large scale mining operation here. I'm sure BG alluded to this in a previous Q&A.

Who says Pepas needs a DFS?

Tungy is back with his comical LOM nonsense. Is the accumulation of cheap shares proving difficult for you or your pay masters Tungy? Are they threatening to half your pay for being utterly s h i t e at this. Come up with some new material.

Keep an eye on the weekly candle folks. Developing a decent wick at the bottom, which are indications of accumulation. A strong day tomorrow and you know what, we "could" just end up trading back in the very zone that we fell from. This would be remarkable, but not surprising, when you consider that the selling was overdone in the first place, and we now have a 220koz MRE in the bag.

All to play for and this stock has shown remarkable (recovery) power on a few occasions already. The fundamentals "should" always play out in the end, and ours just got stronger with confirmation we have a potential big cash show in Pepas, and can now start to generate some exploration upside with this "ramp up" in exploration activity, but let's see what happens. This is why a very strong recovery is very much on the cards here. This can go up in a flash, and in fact, if you take a look at all the recent moves up, you will see that they tend to happen over a week or two.

Not saying the recovery will happen overnight or in this timescale, but certainly by the time the first of those APTA results land - and remember its a 5 day turnaround - you won't be seeing these prizes. For the GGP crew, you will once again be watching OMI outperform you in terms of share price gains.

For LTH here, the more shares we see getting taken up at these levels by stickier hands, the better foundations it builds for us for the next move up, and the more it 'protects' (but doesn't guarantee) us from another similar shakedown.

But let's see how it all pans out! Gotta be in it to win it!

Element - I'm as confident in BG as I was in Gervais Heddle. BG is straight talking, doesn't ramp or spin, and veers towards the cautious in his approach. In fact, I wish he would be more rampy and spin like your typical AIM CEO, but he is the opposite, and tends to temper expectations a lot. But this means that on the occasions when BG does perk up, there's usually some substance behind it. El Pantano is a good example of this!

But just as Gervais wasn't able to prevent Scallywag (I recall he departed soon after), nor can BG guarantee anything here. But it's helpful I think, that whilst we're an exploration company, to have a straight talking and very able Geo at the helm. I do have faith in him to bring home the discovery. He has done so with Pepas already - who can forget that BG always maintained that MMA's geos previously drilled Pepas in the wrong direction. He was right!

We have a number of shots at the big prize: North Pepas, Apta, El Cedro, LV and El Pantano. With at least three of these, you can go further and note:

1) North Pepas is adjacent to the existing Pepas find. Very encouraging soil sampling results.

2) Apta has already had 38k metres of drilling with some excellent Pepas style holes already reported. Expectation of a 1 to 2moz resource.

3) El Pantano - they are confident they have already established a "substantial mineralised system" (such that they have put this in a RNS) and appear to have picked up gold and silver already based on what they hinted at the recent Q&A. But we await the assays.

So with these three projects in particular, the current signs are encouraging.

I also like the fact that attention will soon turn to APTA. BG is quite wily, and I fully expect the first phase of drilling to be in the existing sweet spots. So whatever else happens in the longer term, with the initial drilling at APTA, we can expect some more superb (Pepas style) results. The kind that excite the AIM punters. Whilst the going is good at APTA, he might also decide to stick a few holes into El Cedro, a couple of free hits which if they don't produce the good, can be melted away into the APTA bonanza RNSs.

At the end of the APTA drilling, the more longer term investors and the instis will get their second MRE. This time a much larger MRE. THEN you can start to talk about the little Pepas deposit funding the much bigger one. This scenario is almost inevitable, given that we already have the Pepas MRE, and APTA has already produced the goods.

Wow - ducks seem to be lining up folks with this announcement. Perfect storm scenario brewing up for Orom Cross. When that upgraded JORC lands, and with multiple parties circling already, we could end up with a bidding war. We mustn't forget the pressure there is on the Europeans to move away from China, whilst at the same time not being able to rely on the US either!

Probably all of the below. A few years ago, I read about a disgruntled chap working in the city who revealed that the role of his team was to spread FUD on bb to benefit the company and its clients. Of course, I have no way of knowing if this is true. However, I have seen it so many times now and across so many different shares, where a "group" of posters or new accounts all suddently descend on a share at the same time, and then disappear days later when "the job is done". No doubt in my mind that many of them are doing this for trading purposes.

Does it work? The answer to that has to be YES. They wouldn't bother and it wouldn't happen so routinely if there was no result from it. For every 100 readers, there will be at least some, who already emotional from seeing a share price fall, will then react to these dooms day posts.

More generally, people are often very dismissive about the influence of bb. We all often proclaim: "never listen or take advice from strangers on a bb" - I have said this many times myself. But truth be told, we are each and all influenced in some way by what we read on bb. Nothing inherently wrong with that, as there are very knowledgable investors around on bb, and I consider bb to be a useful research and info sharing tool. But it also comes with its risks and unpleasantaies (putting it mildly), which is what we have witnessed this week.

Hi Tgr - it goes without saying that I wish you well with your investment here. It also goes without saying that we are all in different situation here in terms of our entry points, our portfolio needs, etc. So what is right for one of us, won't necessarily be right for others. It might be right for some to sell at these levels, and for others to add. So do what feels right for you.

It's irrational imho to believe that during this exploration ramp up, and with £13 million in the kitty, there won't be anything happening here to take price back up. As the dust settles on the MRE news event, I think more shares will end up in LTH hands and we will start to climb back up. Shares will also go to the 10-30% brigade. They haven't all descended on this bb for no reason at all. They will also be positioning for the next wave.

Element - I could just say truck off, but I will instead explain. I've been here circa 2 years and plan to stick around for a while yet. Extremely rare for me to be in an AIM share for so long. Whilst I do hold this share with a high level of enthusiasm, it's not enthusiasm that underpins this. It's because I believe OMI has a fantastic portfolio, on which it will go onto make a significant discovery (or two, or three!) AND a risk calculation I have made (see below). There are no guarantees of exploration success, and I know things can go VERY wrong - as Scallywag proved to me the last time I got so excited! But with £13 million and the exploration risk spread across 4/5 projects, two of which are already discoveries (Pepas and Apta), another which looks like it could well be upon further drilling (El P), the odds of exploration success here are as favourable as you are likely to come across in the exploration game. If you don't like the odds here, then exploration odds are not for you!

And so far, things have gone VERY well. Those who have been here over the last two years will know the 'calls and views' I have expressed, and whether they have come to pass or not. Calls made during the good times and the bad times in terms of the share price. I have a significant position here, all accumulated some time ago. Only two weeks ago, I was sitting on a 15 bagger (from my initial buy point). We were expecting the MRE and El P assays to land, but I tuned out completely as I have no intention of selling at this time or in this zone. It's not enthusiasm, or exhuberance, or ramping, but down to a few simple factors:

1) We have £13 million and are literally only just about to ramp up. This means the story is only just starting!

2) Shares are trading below 40p. I consider sub 40p to be the normal base level value (or call it sentiment) zone for OMI.

3) The real prospect, as I see it, and based on the portfolio situation, of a moon shoot event occuring here to propel the shares out of this zone and to new heights. We've come close already, and as I say, are at the opening chapters of this story, or at the start of the £13 million spend.

So overall, my risk calculation if you like, is that even if we don't get that moon shoot event occuring, which takes us out of this base level zone and new heights, I am VERY confident that simply the unfolding and telling of the story itself, the attempt to make discoveries, with the anticipation/sentiment that brings, will (and at various points) take us back towards the upper parts of this base level zone again. So at this stage in the story, I feel very confident in holding, enduring the swings within this base zone, and waiting (and hoping) for that moon shoot event to occur.

Safe in the knowledge that if it doesn't occur, or isn't looking like happening, I will still do perfectly well out of this share! Hope that helps explain.

I was referring to the last two years and this current bull market - during which I believe OMI has well outperformed GGP (and then some!). In fact outperformed most of the LSE gold sector? That's going to create the right and wrong type of attention, and envy imho!
