Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
fastfood, i am aware of the cash position at the end of sept, then in october they raised £4m so add that on top and that will help your calcs. it’s a **** show today for sure and an example in how not to run a company but to top it off don’t start putting out **** information.
Yes Shouston and was mentioned on here earlier and that is the simple answer, which 9/10 it’s right and the level I assume (shock horror) will be around here and let me guess the share count doubles to give us £2.5m and then the SP rerates back to a market cap of circa £20m so we end the period at around 1p again, which is the new 2p :)
Still when the information from the company is so poor the answers are always guess work.
funding has not run out, the sl terms are breached which no doubt means cash has dropped below £2.5m and instead of waivering it they are not this time. as long as production is still at 1100 then funding is there till the end if qtr 1 but the sl is not budging on their terms this time.
either way is a **** position for copl to reach and no excuses the management have been delinquent and the communicate is a disgrace and it could have an appalling outcome or it might not.
i stayed in and actually grabbed a few more based on the qty of buying and selling at this level. basically won’t be a shock if this is a placing level to dig copl out of the hole
Edgein, I guess the injection rates are chicken and egg and as this position was coming (and was known because how can it not) they may have had to stabilise injection rates based on affordability not performance, but again not having any information or guidance from the company it’s like trying to do a jigsaw puzzle in a blind fold.
Don’t forget the part at the bottom of the RNA could be relevant. I.e short term funding was being arrange before 1st Jan and it became known hence price was being hammered down and got to the stage COPL had to send out the RNA before a funding RNA. Would not be shocked to see a funding RNA and production related RNA this year. Also though as it’s COPl would not be too shocked with its curtains so you pull out or take your place at the table for Russian roulette lol.
Daniel, who knows but basically the implication is that a placing was in play, others became aware and as such they needed to announce this to cover this aspect so we all become aware.
As I say something still smells but as I mentioned maybe the simple answer is right.
Wontogo, yes that was part of the RNS, I just feel there is something else but maybe sometimes the simple answer is the right one and we are due 2 more bits of new this year, which are the production information and the next gaffney special, although no doubt the terms of that are being rewritten as we speak!
I get all the points and they are probably right but so much hinges on the production, if they need to ensure they don’t break the cash level on jan 1 and production is rising then surely this won’t go under it makes zero sense. I maintain something is up but I just don’t know what it is.
busy mum, rubbish of a jvp partner let copl fail to get it cheaper they open the door for others.
it’s a **** sp, it’s **** comms but there is something i am missing in all this and just can’t put my finger on it
I have been in disasters before and from a SP perspective this certainly is that and I nearly drew my last few £ out but there is something not right here and I can’t work out what it is. I know I will be proved wrong but I think the BH, JVP, COPL, and SL have not all agreed on what was wanted / needed and someone has tried to force the hand, now the SL has reacted to that hand forcing.
It’s probably wrong but something is not right and feels like a large game playing out. I see the issue between the BH and SL but reality is with so little information from COPL it’s impossible to work out
