To those not involved in bickering..23 Feb 2023 08:37
Apologies for the title but I didn't want to join in the "Rampers" vs "Shorters" fun and games.
SP here is just following POO isn't it? Ok some days it drops when POO rises but stepping back and looking at it over a year there's a correlation. Overall there's no imminent threat to the companies survival, debt is manageable, but there's not a great deal of good news momentum to raise the SP.
Obviously there's the Ghana and Kenya dramas going on in background which coif have a major impact on resolution.
I was in at 42p so not exactly slashing my wrists or doing cartwheels at the mo!
Can one of you clever folks who understands how to tell if short positions are being taken/closed give me a flavour of what it's like at the moment please?
Quick question. We don't pay stamp duty when buying CEY as it's incorporated in Jersey (have I got that terminology right?). Is there a simple way I can find a list of other FTSE 350 companies registered in Jersey, or indeed anywhere else that means no stamp duty?
I think it's just a very elastic share. Remeber we were up I think 10% yesterday at one point and then all of that disappeared only to come back again strongly.
I think a good deal of the good news was priced in. There was a sentiment that things are getting better.
