Hi boom. Very sad read. Have lost several close family and friends over the years, like most people I guess. Coincidentally I am sat with Mrs leas at a breast screening referral unit waiting to see the consultant. Thinking positive of course. Puts everything in perspective really. My lack of patience has never been with waiting for the sp to increase but the length of time life changing drugs take to get to market.

JR, looks that way. Nature of AIM investors. Spurs has got banned. However, I find it slightly hypothetical by a poster on the ADVFN bb who posts quite offensive comments. It was he who was getting his knickers in a twist about his comments.

Head, I have had some stinkers in the past. Currently have ANGS at 27p. However, I have had some life changing investments too. Late 80s I invested in EB at under a penny and sold at 145p when they were known as Game. More recently I held IMM at an average of 22 and sold a bucket load at 177 avg.
I am not suggesting that the sp will rise ten fold in a few days after news but patience here will bring it's rewards. Imo our current MC does not reflect value on what the company and its partner has achieved.

moniman, the trial was positive. The NIH will look at the P11b trial and agree or disagree that the trial targets were met and the design of the trial was safe in order for FLU-5 to proceed to the next stage. Without referring back to the RNS it was a 86% success rate.

Head, I guess so. Reputation means a lot to these guys. The group's investment in their biotech company in the US is performing badly. Just cannot see them leaving themselves exposed here too.

Your also assuming he is in the know with the NIH findings which could have caught him off guard if released early. I think the Woodford group have played a blinder, accumulating into a falling sp.

Head, the accumulation from 15 % has been measured. Woodford has almost doubled his holding on the back of positive P11b trial. He has managed to lower his average which I would guess is above most here.

Some fruitcake from the ADVFN bb reported his comment for insider dealing. Odd that that site allows abusive posts which could cause distress but hey ho.

fruit, kicking myself a little that I didn't top up at 544. Sold BT at a reasonable profit and still have my top slice from here to reinvest. Still cannot see 500 or 530's yet, imo I see 600 being more likely. Struggling to read the market at the moment. Maybe sitting on my hands is the better and safer option.

Paul, I see your frustration but the recent associated director buy should give you some comfort. Perhaps they are happy going about their daily business and intend to add further on the back of the decline.

Moniman, my take on things too. Sp looks very much under the influence of those bots allowing wriggle room for the shorts. Nothing negative I can see to worry investors Time they moved on, just cannot see their agenda here or certainly not at this price. Crazy, surely they understands their business and structure, not forgetting their ambition to expand. Even that is measured and affordable.

It is much more difficult as a private investor not to become nervous or impatient. After all it is our hard earned cash. 'The playing field' is much easier for the institution's. Woodford's average is much higher than most investors and will have done their due diligence prior to increasing from 15%. Not many pi's invested here so if it goes ***s up then Woodford and Invesco will be holding the baby. Of course there are risks but they are very much in our favour. Interims in September, news overdue. Not long now, patience being the key.

Broker balancing their books at the end of the day. Could be an order they wish to fulfill prior to close but not achieved it. Sometimes completed by way of an auction. Tbh, you will probably be better googling it and reading the definitions offered. Normally pi's get spooked at the end of the trading day when the sp appears to be dropped to a price below the days average. I normally ignore them.

Bitbuy, not too far away from the Balerics. Just across the water about 60km in Albir. Been driving down from Northern France for the last couple of days to extend the summer. Hopefully we get some news flow before returning to France. Sp holding up pretty well considering.

Nothing wrong in being an optimist, especially in your investments. Won't take much to break the monotony here. We are sailing through the doldrums. Not long before we get a tailwind to carry us to the med.

K3y, they did get some coverage in the week after their P11b results. I suspect they will get more after the NIH update. However, I don't think the R&D of the big Pharmas are unaware of their success. Not denying that the wider press coverage in the media would help the short-term sp.

Banker, I think it would be abused by some holders. A group of people could collectively buy 500 shares in one name and buy a round of 50 pints of wainwrights. :)
