RE: NIH FLu-V results6 Dec 2018 16:46
chimmy, I did post earlier in the week about TPs naivety in making that statement. The timescale is out of his hands. The results will be published in the NIHs own timeframe. They are then published for all to see. HVO cannot be given an update and then sit on it if it does not meet their expectations. The P2b was pretty emphatic in it's results and cannot see that trial being challenged. It does not delay any P3 trial but is an endorsement by a third party of the submissions. I have to say, I would have taken a bigger slice at 80p if I thought it could be longer but it will come.
Not the first time the BoD's have been misleading through inexperience or naivety, MTFB did with their new drug application, SCLP and IMM have done the same.
These guys are totally focused on the science and I genuinely believe they don't fully understand how the market reacts to delays, especially on the AIM. I think that is why it is important that any partner that does a deal with HVO has experience in taking new drugs to market.
