We were closed out for the last 10 mins of trade today, but after looking at the trades during this time, it didn't appear to be a huge amount of trades going through. So it couldn't have been liquidity could it? Almost seemed like it was going a bit crazy and someone wanted to put the brakes on?

I agree, everyone's position is different and people feel more comfortable taking profit at different points and no one should be attacked for that. I do find it a little strange that anyone who has this share (and this share is different to others) would want to risk being out of it, especially after todays roller coaster. Even if no sale takes place, it's still a great company that is going to grow into a monster, so little down side.

Supply and demand - If more people are selling, more stock is available to buy so it's likely the sp should go down.

On 5.7m sold and 4m shares bought. First time in days there's been more sales than buys and the sp goes up, whereas it's been going down!

I agree. Part of me thinks why doesn't he come out and say - I never said that, but this would just muddy the waters. I guess he's got a lot on his plate at the moment and he knows it won't make any difference to the end result. He's really the only one who knows what's going on here.

2Phevs. Nope, pretty new to investing in shares. Only started in Nov - wouldn't know how to short something. Bought 500 shares in THG and saw it half in value, now have 25,000. Was at a good ave of 98p, but now £1.21 after buying more at £1.43, after missing out at £1.12 - pushed the button and the price jumped to £1.20, which spooked me

Candyman only has 1m shares doesn't he? Pretty insignificant considering he's thinking about bidding. He's not thinking particularly hard or fast. This is why market thinks this potential offer is a joke and it's just his mate helping MM out to get things moving.

Any reason why this share doesn't get any coverage on Bloomberg or Sky business - Is it because of MM's golden share?

Buys vs sells down and shares up. Usually the other way around with this share

Does seem strange all these small sale trades, when people know what’s going on? Why don’t they want to hang around?
