I think there's definitely something up for the BOD not to be buying. £1.70 considerably undervalued the company (their own words), sp falls to 70p and they don't fill their boots - something is afoot and is preventing them from buying!

If the 2 main shorters have positions from 20th and 21st June, where do they think this share will fall? Seems odd to me, but BR lost a lot mid TO rumours, so they do get it wrong now and again. Can't believe many PI's will sell now. They're either LTH or they've got in at ATL

I can understand BOD not buying, as there may be things going on, but surely the II’s aren’t bound by this. Wouldn’t they want to load up at this price to being their average down?

Rock - you protest too much unfortunately. As I said if you're not interested in the company , do one. No one else wants to know, because they are rooting for the company. Why would anyone who owns shares here want to try and put them down so much - just a question!

How could they be happy with £2.50? MM has his golden share but ultimately any takeover would need the support of the large II's, which we know now would not be authorised under £1.70. Something is still in play here!

Rock8, opinions are one thing and that's to be encouraged, but all you want to do is doom his share. If this is how you truly feel, there's no way you'd be holding shares - you'd have sold, even if you had any in the first place. Either way, you shouldn't really be commenting on here!

I actually used to think the golden share could protect us. It now needs to go. If it goes, the BOD will have to make sure no one can come in and pick the company up for nothing, otherwise they'll lose out as well. In reality though I'm not sure how a hostile takeover could happen unless he p*ssed off the Institutions?
