You may be right, but I don’t agree with your hypothesis.
The SP is already on it’s *rse and as time passes without a decision it will decline anyway.
Additionally, the passing of time leads to more dilution, so doing nothing would have the same ultimate consequence.
Doing nothing has proved beyond doubt to be exactly what the swedes want.

Lofven’s visit created the opportunity for this spurious statement by the Sami.
They have no place making a statement of any kind. The law is sufficient to make the decision. Where have I heard that before?

Such is the desperation of the swedes not to make a decision, that, g8ven recent increase in pressure on their utter ineptitude and flouting of their own laws, added to Budge’s sabre rattling, Lofven himself is secretly winding up the Sami to ramp up their protests against a mine to legitimise their “ difficulty “ in reaching a decision.
This is collusion at the highest level.
And to 0rove that, why would Lofeven go to Kallak under the radar to meet the Sami and, yet again , not meet with Budge.
Lofven, like Damberg, Baylan et al are ruining their own country and denying right and proper process of their own mining legislation. This is Sweden ffs, not some banana republic or dictatorship!

I agree legal action should have been seriously considered long ago.

Your point about more stringent environmental legislation having crept into play, I would have to say that the plan for a mine at Kallak has impeccable green credentials.
If the concession is denied on those grounds, then I can’t see any future for mining in Sweden.

Additionally, it is clear that the all important mining legislation, which will decide any legal action has not been amended since the application was lodged, so I am not sure whether any increased pressure from the greens would legally be permissible in a legal bun fight for the license.
