Certainly is SAD - These shares are being hoovered up very quickly even before the bell so buy orders must be being filled. I am beginning to wonder whether we have a large buyer who may want a large stake on the cheap but without triggering a TR-1.

This decline in sp is broker driven. It is both shocking and frustrating. Investors complaining is perfectly understandable as is their frustrations spilling over. We all feel the same. There is little that we retail investors or the BoD can do to prevent the power of the brokers from prevailing for as long as they want to. But news will come and, if good, these spivs will have to buy back to close out. If only there was a regulator with teeth to complain to…..

Investing in a fledgling AIM in this particular field is full of frustration due to "Flash to Bang" being very protracted. It has been pointed out here several times. Any BoD will make errors but quickly correct them as has been witnessed although we do not know the background or the rationale for decisions made. You are correct to state that you are not alone but some of you have been regurgitating the same stuff for many years - even before Dr Parkers time! Nothing has changed despite the lamentations and bleating over the years and now we are about to find out whether it has all been worthwhile or not. Bit like trying to sack Southgate now that we are in the semi-finals. Results speak volumes.

Cost control is extremely important in business as is cost analysis. Understanding the cost of everything and the value of nothing is not good for businesses however. The story of the accountant who complained to his wife that Sunday Roast was far to expensive is relevant. She was castigated every week until she was instructed to produce a salad in an effort to further reduce costs. He came home on the Friday to a note informing him that she and the kids were unhappy and had left him but had left his Sunday lunch in the fridge. He opened the fridge and found a lettuce sandwich.

What is important to note is that salary sacrifice has taken place to preserve cash and to keep dilution to a minimum. To do this indicates a belief that what Sareum has developed is viable and, potentially, valuable. So investing £14m over 10 years in a developing business is not huge but the potential return is. We are back to Risk/Reward again but that underpins what "value" is all about. I fully accept that there is no tangible value to be seen at the moment but it may well start to manifest itself very soon. Directors and Non-Executive Directors open doors and provide credibility to Companies such as Sareum and usually have impeccable references and career histories within their respective fields. They are taken seriously in negotiations because their peers respect them. Don't underestimate the value of the sums invested to date. They do not risk their profiles or reputations with dud Companies. And yes, they get paid.

Well that was an interesting week of naked shorting by the City spivs. It is frustrating to see the sp drop like this but it is done deliberately to shake holders out as well as to influence any placing price so that more shares have to be issued in order to meet the amount of funds.

Our resident shorters are here to sow doubt and to squeeze the sp as low as possible aided and abetted by the spivs. We have been here before and they will all buy back to close their positions at some point.

Funding of some description will be required but will be accretive.

The current number of shares in issue is not great compared to several other Companies so there is plenty of headroom should a raise be required. It may well be the case that Hybridian are hawking Sareum around the City already - who knows - I certainly don’t. The urge to sell is understandable and if you can make some money then all well and good. I have not - and will not - sell a single share without posting. Despite having said I was already “locked and loaded” I will buy more around these levels. Good luck anyway whatever you choose.

Thats not what I am saying at all. By all means have a different viewpoint but don't let emotion get the better of common sense. Try and explain to us all what your strategic objective is and how you are going to achieve it. By that, I don't mean the sp, I mean how will you influence the BoD into "doing something different" and what would different mean? Most great Generals in battle chose the right ground to fight on and used their resources accordingly. They didn't rush headlong into a battle without a well thought out plan, otherwise they would have looked foolish and incompetent. I'm not having a pop here, but I genuinely cannot see what you expect to gain from your proposed actions or what timeframes you have in mind.

Not much cheerleading on here Potnak/LseSar. More a case of protecting ones investment from unfounded speculation and Board bashing just to suit personal agenda's. All part of the game though. It is always unwise to predict shareprices drops/rises etc: as they are invariably proven wrong (as per the last few of yours Potnak) Lse also was wrong. No shame in that and if I were to predict anything I am sure that I would end up with egg on my face too.

My only position is to follow the news and retain my patience and, yes, let the science do the talking. All the speculation of Armageddon, no cash, no deals etc: is just that. Total speculation based on unfounded what-ifs and no actual knowledge. LseSar is sounding like Citizen Kane on steroids and will have absolutely no impact on any progress or otherwise. We have heard it all before here with mutinies being threatened, EGM's being called to sack the Board. All hot air and completely futile and goes nowhere. Just look at the votes from the AGM. Best thing to do is let progress take it's natural course. I understand it frustrates some but surely if you don't believe that Sareum or the Sareum BoD are capable of much more then maybe you shouldn't be invested. Plain and simple fact. If you do believe that Sareum can deliver, then why talk your own investment down?

It’s about common sense. So you are emailing them but not expecting a response with any info: Weird. Our pain points as you put it are also their pain points too. Seems a futile exercise in my view and is just about Board bashing again. But fire away if it makes you content. I think most on here confuse their shareprice frustration with BoD frustration. Why not blame the brokers instead?

You are correct of course Fearg - I am astounded at the naivety on display and cannot believe any of it is genuine. If I am wrong then apologies to those I may offend. I would be interested to read any meaningful response from Sareum to such daft questions. The expectation that Sareum would release commercially sensitive information to an individual is absurd as is the expectation that Sareum would share negotiation details that would be under NDA protection. Also overlooks the fact that there are 2 parties involved in any negotiation and Sareum cannot demand what they want without some toing and froing and concessions from both sides. Directors have legal constraints for good reason and insider trading would destroy everything for them.

LseSar - I refuse to repeat your deliberately negative thread title, but what premeditated and premature drivel. How on earth do you know that the BoD are not addressing the situation? You are intentionally stirring and not too subtle with it.

Market cap of circa £41m even after the impressive progress made in the past 12 months. This has to be one of the best value stocks on AIM and has a ready made pipeline for any major pharma or is primed for Licensing.

Morning Colbalt - we have all been here long enough to recognise and understand what is going on. All the usual suspects crawl out of the woodwork to slam the BoD and other posters whilst trading/shorting. It is what it is however and, as per previous occasions, it is best to take advantage of the dips if we can and ride it out. It will pass like it always does. I get disappointed that traders have to destroy professional reputations in order to achieve their aims. Very few, if any, have served on a Board and haven’t a clue as to what may happen during the decision making process, nor the legal restrictions placed on a Board or individual Directors.

For the record I don’t believe it is carnage as this happens on a regular basis. It’s just what happens to a lot of AIM stocks.

Of course they are - manipulation? All denied of course but just Google “laddering” and “washboarding” or “LIBOR manipulation prosecutions”. If they manipulate the International Bank Rate then the lightly regulated AIM is an easy and safe target for the City spivs. And yes! They will be at it again tomorrow morning
