I find the total Radio Silence intriguing. Normally when there is a dearth of news, Stephen Parker fires out a few tweets to related articles or treatments. To date, nothing. I appreciate that as Executive Chairman he is keeping his powder dry, but it is a bit unusual. Like SOG and a few others I would speculate that there is plenty going on behind the scenes but covered by a NDA (standard practise) - a new CEO would take a few months from scratch so not much to be read into that unless any negotiations are "new CEO inclusive".
The sp has been strangely static - previously any small sells took the sp down (buys - never up). The market seems uncertain. I also suspect that PH and RF colluded to destroy the sp and may still be involved by way of PH having bought up a chunk of RF shares with a view to shorting.
In a nutshell it is all smoke and mirrors at the moment, but then look at the patterns of behaviour and the shareprice shenanigans that went on with Sierra Oncology before they were bought out. Very similar to what we are witnessing with Sareum. I am not predicting a buyout - merely pointing out the market tactics. Meanwhile PH target price of £1.37 remains in place.
