Had the same thoughts myself CTC. I guess the reason i didn't sell was that, if there was a large seller in the background it didn't negate the positives of the company enough for me to sell.

It seems the world of investing is no different to any other sphere, it's simply a microcosm of the society we now live in. What makes the deceit even more prolific is that these people can hide behind an invisibility cloak, the true person in all of us comes out when we know we will not be held to account. These people operate to a different value system to us but probably don't experience the true joy of life, love, caring, and giving. They'll cheat, mock and sneer, thinking they are the winners :-)

I know its unnerving, i got caught out briefly early last year on a tree shake of Eurasia, fortunately i didn't get too burnt, but now i realise, i just ignore s.p fluctuations, manipulation, and the obvious derampers, as none have any material effect on the value of our assets.

I thought blue simply referred to the s.p going upwards in value on any particular day.
Why is 21p not blue and 28p is?

If you sell shares, its cgt, if you recieve a divi, its income. Allowances cannot be transferred from one to the other.

Your line "The lower the stock price, the lower any potential sale will be and the weaker their bargaining hand," doesn't really hold water, as the sale is of the prized assets NOT the company. But i think you know that already.

Very poor first post. I think you were meaning to drag sentiment downwards but you've basically said, its not too good to be true. Welcome, Mr Ramper :-)

The current s.p is vitally important. I never thought i'd consider buying more, but as the picture becomes clearer and clearer and peeps insist on downplaying it, the supressed s.p is becoming mightily attractive.
I fully appreciate why the "flybynights" would be getting stressed.

Not sure if your desperation for a conclusion is based on greed or what, but you always have the option of taking the profit you already have, now.
Days, weeks months and years pass, and you claim to be no wiser. I would politely refer you to the comannies official news releases and the thoroughly researched material posted on here by the more positive members.
The longer this goes on the more the core business will suffer! Have you really not looked at any official news releases? The expansion of WK, the JV. the increased itg resourse at MT?
It's in everyones interest for the bod to be left to do what they need to do to maximise the value of their resources.

Never thought i'd say this.
I've held a significant holding for the last couple of years and only topped up mine and "er indoors" with the ISA top up this year, didn't feel the need to buy more. However, if the hysteria displayed on here over the last twelve hours or so transfers into a ravaged s,p on Monday, i feel i may have to pile in some more.

Not quite sure what all the panic is about. Unless you were pinning all hope on the AGM purely being a vehicle to announce sale of assets. Some on here have become hysterical. No doubt the s.p. will drop on Monday, a direct response to those who expect amazing rewards from financial input with no commitment to time.

Seems like we're so close to receiving the sweet fruits of our patience.
It would be a shame to pick the fruit too early.

I don't see a problem with the AGM being delayed, notwithstanding those that are not confident of a great outcome who want to see the s.p at a higher level. If the fundamental changes to the company that result from partial or full sale are imminent, why not get an extension? Just my personal view.

Hi denby, can you inform me where you have heard this?
Obviously from a reliable source, as you've presented it as a statement of fact.
Also , on what grounds do you base the statement "this has gone far to long and should have been sold by now" ?
Carry on investing in a share you appear to have little confidence in, it matters not to others.

What a pity investors don't value lamtree's posts as much as those of the measured factual posts of others on here.
