There lives a certain man in Russia with not long to go He was big and strong, in his eyes a teary glow Most people looked at him with terror and with fear But to Moscow boys he was such a lovely dear He could preach the Bible like a preacher Full of ecstasy and fire But he also was the kind of teacher Camp men would desire
Whatever the driver behind the latest price movements, It's had an uplifting affect on this board. Nice to come on here and not be faced with a wall of negativity. Happy days :-)
Trying To Get My Head Around.................14 Sep 2022 10:05
This Ethereum Merge. So Ethereum Blockchain will use less miners to validate transactions, in turn producing a much more energy efficient crypto operation. Some miners look to be moving towards mining other cryptos'. I can't quite work out if this is a positive or negative for QBT. Any clever peeps on here got a slant on it?
Speculative Punter, Not sure where you read it, but can you direct me to where the company have stated, "they promise to sell the company"? I hope you're wrong, as I'm invested in the company and not purely for, what I thought, was a proposed asset sale!
Thanks for the poem, Les. It brought a tear to my eye. In these hectic greed ridden, attention seeking times, she was a really great example of how to conduct oneself. Whilst those around her started to mimic these modern times, she conducted herself with loyalty and dignity. It's sad that her last few years weren't as happy as they should have been. May she rest in peace.
Aubery, Some on here were spreading their "fact" that the interested parties had walked. This was directly asked at the AGM and the reply was that they hadn't. Unlike the opinion you have given regarding what "at the table" may mean to you, I'm just sticking to what was said. Look at my post, I've not tried to extrapolate anything. There seems to be a groundswell of disquiet on here, which is fine, but it doesn't stop me being hopefully optimistic regarding the final outcome.
Tygra, How do you explain the international companies involved in brokering the deal? They and the "interested parties" were still at the table as of the last AGM!
All good news. PJ wants this drilled and assayed asap, and so do I :-) Roger, It good to have an awareness of any potential negatives, but try to look at the upside, otherwise you'll miss out on lucrative investments.
Ah, you're being ironic aren't you, downthehatch? Predicting an ultra low SP, and then bemoaning the so called experts, lol, lol, You really couldn't make up this stuff. Who changes their nappies, feeds them, etc, etc?
K1D, Yes the company are incorporated in the UK, but look at the make up of the Bod. Also Putin has stated that he welcomes overseas investment but will penalise companies that are trying to cut and run, damaging the livelihoods of Russians. This was supported by the Russian government before the summer recess. Eurasia have been very proactive in supporting the local community. It's unnerving at the moment, but the potential rewards are huge. It's simply where your own risk vs reward balance lies.
Fair point Summit, but I don't think the bod have that kind of control. Something that looked to be heading to conclusion hit by a massive dose of uncertainty is the problem. Looking at the number of "unfortunate" deaths in Russia lately, I'm glad our BOD are staying under the radar:-)
