I believe it's a deliberate attempt to dilute good news. So parties can keep making small purchases and build up their holdings whilst spreading FUD. I just accept they're here now and green box. Their existence is unfortunate and I choose to live my life a different way.

Regarding a sale in the next few days or weeks, I don't think that was the implication of the RNS.

Best to reign in time expectations, it takes most of the stress out of being a holder :-)

When we look back at this, It would be interesting to see what kind of discount the bod would have had to accept to push the sale through during the war, instead of waiting it out for a more acceptable post war deal. I'm glad we have a bod that don't mess their pants the moment things get difficult and sell the assets for peanuts. Good things come to those who wait ;-)

I'm very happy with the RNS and although disappointed, can see why they've gone remote with the AGM.

I think the "low visibility when this will be" comment may allude to potential buyers not willing to seal the deal until the war is over, and nobody knows when that will be. I don't take this as a negative, the bod are being pragmatic, knowing how some shareholders respond when curveballs are thrown in. Maybe we sit for a few years. Time to carry on living :-)

Not bothered about the day-to-day SP, but this appears to be good news. We knew about the potential looming conflict of interest. Great housekeeping :-)

We all know that a bear market creates a lot of bargains for those with patience, and we also know the bull markets lead to overinflation of stock values, which has the affect of tempting the restless. There's lots of bargains around at the moment, especially with small cap miners. Peeps will look back in two or three years and rue the ones that got away :-)

Forgot to add: This Friday is, "in my opinion".

I know there are peeps that try to weaponise any view that doesn't come to being as some kind of justification for their constant trolling of anyone with a slightly positive mindset towards their investment.

It's hard to imagine that the company could have been any more perfect in their actions regarding the Russian workers.

All justifies why the BOD have been treading carefully. Fortunately, they have conducted themselves in a responsible way in Russia, always going above and beyond for the local community. Also very good news that one of the very likely interested parties is all Russian. So, we may be sold at a discount, but now seems even more likely it will happen :-)

Putin also clarified yesterday that he didn't mean Russia was not open for business for western businesses that adhere to Russian rules.

Just my view.

Unfortunately there's a more obvious reason why the unemployment rate is so low, and it's nothing to do with prosperity.

Personally, I don't think it will have any affect at all. There's global demand for all metals, and we appear to be at the start of a super cycle. Interested parties were Brics, UK government just announced ways to assist western companies from exiting Russia, and we have Dmitry Suschev who, as well as being an investment banker, is involved in a precious metals crypto currency.

Del, Ref the Japanese question. We don't know what kind of deal is on the table with regards to selling the assets and moving out of Russia. Maybe there's a tie in to receive product down the line from the purchaser? Also the whole Sakhalin issue isn't completely dead, just a big oiler pulling out.

The only reason the pumpers get away with it, is due to peeps buying due to fomo and a complete absence of research.

I've been holding for years, but don't feel the need to cash in at the expense of wildlife. Our time will come and , for me at least, money doesn't trump all else. Nothing insane about that, just different values to some.

Beast, I just laughed at that article and then, quelle surprise, several big buys when the inevitable price drop came.

Don't bother with the day to day dross on here anymore, but do laugh at what happens on here sometimes.
