They will obtain the company for relative peanuts, Russia will own the gold produced .

The only way I can see to stop this is: if waivers are made lifting the sanctions that prevent Petropavlovsk Plc from financing its debt and selling it's gold. If these are lifted the UK gov self imposed entrapment conditions will be lifted the share price will rise and UK investors can at least salvage something . But as it stands POG a British company will be lost to Russia and its British investor suffering great personal loss.

Please, please try and get this message to Liz Truss and members of the cabinet as the situation is totally unfair to a relatively small group of UK private investors.

No at the hearing last week the new judge refused to grant ;house arrest' which meant Pavel could go home but be confined to barrack's as it were. The hearings started earlier this year with witnesses being heard every two week and then six weeks ago the judge gets promotion and a new judge takes over the case which means all the witnesses have to be heard again. Any the process starts yet again this wednesday. It's obvious money or threats have changed hands to keep Pavel out of the way for as long as possible, If Pavel ever gets out I can't see him having the appetite to spill any beans.
