But Phillips and Cameron both russoaphiles must have known the invasion was coming and with Gazproms bank chair Akimov in on it they were waiting to seize their moment and the ritish globalist government gave them that moment through corruption or stupidity via the sanctions. If the sanctions had not been imposed it would have meant the hard way for the crooks to obtain POG. by either a takeover or seizing the assets which would have been very messy with profound implications further down the line. The LSE should investigate the motives and actions of the BOD and their mad rush to appoint administration which in essence we know they couldn't believe their luck when the Tories applied it. Our cabinet and its minister like the now Foreign Minister James Cleverly and my local MP were warned that sanctions would kill the company and give the Russian a legitimate route to acquire at a sickening price. "we were warned".... read: we could have applied for UK gov waivers, which would have released the choke hold that sanctions had placed upon the company thus allowing it to breathe and weather the storm; but as we knew the BoD could have done so and didn't want us to even try and we were happy to take an easy rubber stamping pay day, so stuff the company and its share holders -easy pickings for us.
Opus thought if the UK government and UK high court couldn't be bothered trying to save a UK company and UK share holders then why should we feel any guilt in taking a huge pay day. The fact it was at the cost to UK share holders and ensured that the Russians creditors were not left out of pocket even though that's what the sanctions were planned to do, is either here nor there. We can't help but laugh though at the irony that UK tax pounds are being sent , without consent, to the Ukraine to line pockets and on weapons to defeat an enemy that we and the UK high Court ensured got their debt back.

So what a wheeze the UK share get stuffed helping Russia and the UK tax payers get stuffed trying to destroy Russia and we Opus just did what we were instructed to do and as a British company we were allowed to break sanctions and deal with Russia didn't need any waivers whatsoever and the UK government and High Court never even mentioned it!
So in the end Russia get a 2b Kroll valued gold mine and processing plant, Ukraine get their aid and the UK citizen gets shafted both ways.
So UK share Holders you will not get one bean from this daylight robbery set up.

Russia was sanctioned , but the UK government has no jurisdiction over and can only penalise the UK companies that brake that ruling. i emailed john Mann under a year ago when this 'sting' started and said why doesn't pog just break the sanctions and take their chances in the UK high courts. Pog would have won hands down in my opinion

I have to assume that was Nick Hood who displayed such an empathetic demeanor towards share holders whose lives have been hit devastatingly at the hands of Russian crooks who received the blue print of how to rob UK shareholders from the UL government and with his company carried out the deed aiding and abetting a country we are practically at war with. The poor old UK tax payer have their money sent to Ukraine to supply weapons and some aid plus lining individual pockets and here are Opus robbing those UK tax paying pog shareholders on behalf of the Russians. Their only brief from the BoD was to sell a company under the smoke screen of a manufactured crisis that if they the Bod and m Opus had been genuine they could have ensured POGs survival by applying for a sanctions waiver, but they never did, not once. Opus were complicit in the lei that POG had no other options but to go into administration. I was contacted a couple of months back by a high profile insolvency firm that with POG in his words that there was NO BURNING PLATFORM that Pog was still producing a commodity in the ascendancy that being gold. How the Opus shower sleep at night is beyond me and other professionals who decline to do the job for the BoD , akimov and co and willing partook in the destruction of individual uk citizens savings .
