how it happened
Hello
My name's Lawrence &*^$£ a share holder since 2012 via Hargreaves & Lansdown.
I've emailed John Mann and Max Zaltsman many times.
I held/hold 1.7m shares from before the catastrophic price drop after sanctions were implemented
Could you please try and answer my questions.
1) Is your brief to try and save Petropavlovsk Plc or essentially wind it down?
2) If it's to save POG have you petitioned the UK Gov for waivers on the sale of gold and the servicing of debt
3) If the UK Gov at this late stage granted waivers of debt serving and gold sales would that save the company
4) Are you actually running the company and overseeing the mining and processing of the oxidization of gold.
5) Is the mining and processing oxidization process still active
6) If all is lost will the personal investors get anything
I would like to point out that the UK Gov sanctions designed to hurt Russia only decimated the UK investors instead and if POG's assets are sold off cheaply in Russia then Russia has gained from our personal great loss.
Can you in anyway guide us as to our cause for compensation from out UK Gov whose actions wiped out small investors personal savings and achieved the opposite of their desired effect.
There are many like me who lost their savings and pension funds due to UK government actions and not market forces. Obviously I am very depressed about the whole affair and who it happened.
I can only hope at this stage
Yours Sincerely
Lawrence %$£"
@email I agree ...anything to get the ball rolling. All this 'what's the point'
Sorry haven't emailed , trouble is I'm getting my head sorted out as to what we could do. I think we all agree as to writing one really good letter encompassing our concerns but the trouble is who will write it. If it develops it could be several stock documents. It imperative IMHO that we all agree and get as many to sign as possible . We also need a name for our group of disgruntled losing share holders. Once agreed and signed and I'm sure if it gathers pace others will sign later it needs to go to every business/economic journalist and MP opposition as well as they might want to take it up.
So first thing the initial letter and who is going to write it we can place our names on one of the protest websites and then the letter needs going out via email and [post. I think we have a case. all governments have undertaken bail outs or compensation.
"Lawrence13, if you lost 10 years of ISA in one go here then you are a case in point of why Joe public should not be allowed to trade! that is terrible choices! 1 in 20 shares collapse so at some point you was bound to get wiped out."
What has that got to do with the UK government in trying to hurt Russia hurting their own people instead and succeeding in helping Russia
Who else in the UK has paid such a high price?
A list of who to contacts
Local Mp
Administration team
Media
FCA
_Please add any thing you can think of. I still say a one of leter sent to all the contacts and signed by all the share holders
The main issue for me is our own Government asphyxiated POG to hurt the Russians , but they hurt their own citizens instead and can't even be bothered acknowledging the fact let alone rectifying the harm they've done . And as if to add insult to injury they've handed it gift wrapped to the people they claim their sanctions are hurting.
What a gaggle of knob heads
"Not even a blue chip defensive stock either, but a ftse-250 gold mining firm with geographic dependency on Russia."
That's why it reached 41p
"Honestly, I think anyone in government would be incredulous that someone would invest in only one single stock."
That is not the point in fact many invested in gold as a long term holding as gold is guaranteed to move up in price. And if your POG shares were single stock or not doesn't rmove the fact that UK government sanctions destroyed the share holders and not the intended target who will gain from it. Total royal **** up

Hello again
As the reality sets in myself and others have lost their personal savings due to the sanctions, it also occurred to me I've lost 10 years worth of ISA allowances. Surely this is wrong and we the UK Petropavlovsk Plc investors have been sacrificed causing great suffering, no one else in the UK has been hit this hard. This really is a story that needs to be heard.
@email. I was thinking about that the other day. Not only has oor Governments precipitated the loss of our shares but also the loss of our ISA's its Ffing sick. Thanks Conervatives
Yes I got that email address yesterday from John Mann
I never saw it , just had a good look and bingo. I'll get back
The trap was set by the Crooks and BoD and our Gov sprung it with their sanctions
I'm able to catch up with posts today and here on LSE and Telegram it seems like a post mortem rather than finding a way to fight back or at least get our story out there. We were robbed. no doubt about it , by our BoD , Russian crooks and our own government' We'll get FA of the former but I believe that LTH regardless of 'stop losses', were caught in a vicious trap that our own government incompetently sprung.
I was out of touch last week , so can anyone tell me what happened to the list of share holders that was being compiled. I thought the aim was to all sign a letter that would be sent to the appropriate targets
I had exactly the same from James Cleverly another traitor to his own people. I'm sending your response to my MP Sally-Anne Hart. and pointing out if the government don't even listen to us I will actively campaign against them. They disgust me , theyu bend over backwards for everyone else bar their own people
Finders I haven't forgotten, I have guests at the moment but Friday will be free again to concentrate on this, Here's my email lawrence13@sky.com. We must all see this through
Well do0nhe Nathan. Let's hope he reads it and is in a campaigning mood
