To let you know Petropavlovsk Plc has just gone into administration. The share holders are wiped out and Russia will get the gold and more importantly a billion pounds worth of assest

In truth the ill thought out sanctions destroyed POG and handed it over to to Putin and his cronies. The British Government under the Conservatives have ignored my plea via you to James Cleverly who just basically ignored every point I made. I hear he is minister for Education now -wonderful

The UK government bailed out RSB some years ago but does nothing for it's own hard working citizens.

As this was wholly due to the cudgel of sanction;s being applied I would like to ask your advice as to seeking compensation as I lost my savings 200k due to Government action and not market forces . Why they wouldn't even respond let alone listen

I'm very upset at the moment with the UK Conservative government as their actions will now force me to sell my home.

I appreciate that you've asked if we can investigate, this being the case I thought it would be useful for me to give you an overview of our remit and what we do.

We're responsible for the conduct and supervision of regulated firms such as banks, building societies, insurers, investment firms and those offering consumer credit in the UK. We set the rules and regulations for authorised firms to follow in relation to their regulated activities; however we must remain impartial, this means we can’t investigate consumer’s individual complaints or disputes with an authorised firm, as we do not hold complaint resolution powers.

I've completed a search on our Financial Services Register, this is a public register of the firms authorised by us and warning pages for unauthorised firms. Based on the information you've provided, I've been unable to locate a firm called Petropavlovsk Plc which means they're not authorised by ourselves.

When I got a response from the FCA they said they knew nothing about Petropavlovsk and yet here they are suspending them at their request
